I haven't been to a Dakota's in almost 15 years but I remembered it as soon as I drove by it to check into my hotel. I went for lunch today and it was better than I remembered. The salad bar is small but it has everything you could possibly want on a salad. The service was good and the pulled pork sandwich was filling and delicious.

There was a nice brunch buffet option here with many options. There were waffles, omelettes, eggs, carving station, and then the basic pastries and bagels. The service was great and friendly and I'd definitely go back. It was very crowded and it is the only complaint I'd have!

There's something... weird about the food here. The salad bar has the strangest assortment of items I've ever encountered on a salad bar. Like, there are a bunch of different things in marinades. Chic pea and red bean marinade. Olive marinade. Mushroom marinade. WHY? Who puts these things over lettuce? Why not offer, I don't know, plain vegetables? (Besides the baby corn, I mean.) Look... they have dried apricots and wasabi crunchers right next to the flax seeds and croutons. Only a sociopath would mix these items together. Even the cheese selection is weird. Cheddar? Mozzarella? Feta? NOPE! Shredded, hard parmigiano. Or cottage cheese, if you'd prefer. Perfect! All the meat has some kind of strange seasoning on it, too. And the ribs were dry and full of cartilage chunks. I hear the brunch is great, though!

I am reviewing the famous Buffett brunch menu -Food is very good if you stick to the omelette station, waffle station and smoked fish. Anything else can be hit or miss. The salad bar is nice. Cakes vary the most - some are tasty others are bland. Bacon, Sausage, and potatoes​ bar are very tasty but complain to your server if the food isn't hot. The carving station and hot platter area can be great some weeks and awful other weeks. They do serve alcohol for brunch. They are family friendly. Make sure to arrive on time.

Great food, great service, great restaurant. The food is amazing, and the atmosphere is great as well, it's just a nice place to be.
