Best Southern Italian food in Tulsa. Amazing hospitality. Feels like home.Food: 5/5
Had a perfect birthday dinner here! Such great service, food, and atmosphere! Friendly and went above and beyond to make the night enjoyable. The Olivia Olio was so flavorful. Definitely try the bread pudding if you’re there on a Saturday!Food: 5/5
It's small but a great place to have either a small business gathering or date. The food is wonderful. The Italian sausage is the spicy kind. The red sauce is mild. The pasta is fresh and has a homemade texture. The service was great. It's just a nice little place! We enjoyed it.
This review is way past due. My friend and I went into this restaurant June 20th with the intention to just grab a drink or two as we waited for a concert to start at The Shrine. Let me tell you, I wish I hadn't already eaten that day before going in. I would have loved to be hungry enough to try a full dish from the menu. The stuff on the menu looked so good that I decided to at least try something small. I went with the Caprese, and let me tell you, it was amazing!! To top it off, the gentlemen running the bar brought us some meatballs on the house, and those meatballs were super amazing!! I got enough of a taste of this place to know that it will be a must to go here the next time I'm in Tulsa. I liked the chill vibe of the place as well. We almost went into a bar across the street, but it seemed too loud and roudy, which is why we ended up here. 10 out of 10, definitely don't pass this place up no matter if you live in Tulsa, are just passing through or only there for a day or a few days. Put this one on your list and skip the fast food, lol!
I rarely write reviews, especially bad ones, about local places but this restaurant was bad on so many levels that I felt I needed to. When we walked in to eat, first thing that hit us was how loud it is. This is mainly caused by the fact that there is nothing on the walls to absorb the sound. So, the sound just bounces off the walls and creates a very noisy environment. It wasn’t decorated either. Just concrete walls with bar in the middle. They brought out bread to start but the bread was hard with no flavor. We ordered the caprese salad to start and it was boring, small, and with little flavor. For the main meal, I ordered the pesto pasta and my wife ordered the linguini with meatballs. My meal was basically just a big bowl of pasta mixed with pesto. It was unappetizing and I ended the meal after having taken just a few bites. There was nothing that came with it to make it appetizing, such as tomatoes. My wife didn’t like her meal either. The price was expensive too. Our meal consisted of two pasta dishes, one caprese salad, and two waters. Total with tip was $79. I could have made something much better in just a few minutes for much less. Overall, they need to work on creating a better atmosphere, spice up their food, get some things to absorb the sound, and keep a lid on their prices.
We had been canceled from a reservation at another italian restaurant for my wifes bday. So we called and reserved a table here. Upon arriving, we were seated immediately. The server was great. Let us taste several wines to decide on a bottle. We ordered the ceaser salad to split. Ceaser is the best in tulsa for sure. I ordered the linguine with meatballs. Very authentic. Homemade meatballs and sauce. Flavor was simple yet complex and full of authentic flavor. Atmosphere was great. Did not feel like we were in Tulsa. Staff was very friendly and enjoyed being there. Price was very fair. Bottle of solid red wine, two pasta entrees, ceaser salad split, and bread pudding $102. Bread is great. Must ask for tge olive oil and balsamic. It has fresh parm in it and is delicious. Will be back soon. Love it.
Salad was good. Lasagna wasn't the "7 layer masterpiece" I was expecting. Not appealing to eye and flavor wasn't as good as I expected. A couple friends of mine make better textured and flavored and they aren't Italian. My brother was pleased with his sword fish.
Overpriced for lazily prepared boring food. The carbonara wasn’t real carbonara, and the bacon was undercooked. I make better pasta dishes at home.Food: 2/5
Very nice place. It has very relax and cozy vibe. I love it. This place has decent food for a good price. I wish the cook would use more spices on my chicken, unfortunately it tasted plane.
The Swordfish Picatta was wonderful! It has just the right tanginess in the pasta sauce to compliment the fish flavor. Pictured here is the pesto pasta. The patio at this time of year was an absolute enjoyment!
