They set us up with great movers in a very short amount of time! We went through Penske who seems to contract with SML and they were nothing but helpful! They got us a great crew of movers on a short timeline. Would definitely use them again!

Look...I can go into detail about our terrible experience with the movers that they choose for us. Or I can tell you how DEPLORABLE the customer experience was. But at the end of the day. IF THEY HIRE BAD MOVERS FOR YOUR JOB THEY WILL MAKE IT YOUR FAULT and YOUR PROBLEM. No negotiations. No customer service. Nothing. So, if you decide to go with SML. Let the odds be ever in your favor.

The loaders they provided were terrible. The unloaders were great. Meaning--they have no criteria to ensure the quality of their workers. I explained the set-up of the move and they assured me that their experience said this would take 2 hours (I think they tell everyone the same thing). In fact it took them 6 hours. This despite the fact that I and my cousin did much of the work. It didn't help that one of the works went to the bank in the middle of the move and the others did a lot of standing around. Not only did they take 6 hours, they damaged much of my property in the process. Despite my expressed concerns, they proceeded with charging my credit card (check the fine print on the agreement, I didn't realize they could do this). They did give me a 10% discount. Doesn't do much when they are 300% over their estimate. I am currently trying to challenge the charges as well as file a claim on the damages. The SML people I talked to are very abrupt saying, this is all they can do--final.
