Western themed bar with sawdust on the floor. Offers both a large sports bar seating area with big screen TVs, as well as a western themed dining room, and a party room. Lots of off street parking; on the corner of Andy Devine and Stockton Hill. I chose the restaurant to host some friends, as it is open on Monday until 10pm. This is a big deal in a smaller town. The name came from the wife of the construction worker who bought the bar in the 60's. She said: "You're gonna buy that Damn Bar!" They owned it for 30 years. Then when it was sold, modernized, and enlarged, the name stuck. Today, it very popular with locals and tourists alike. We ate Sirloin Tips with onions and peppers on white rice, pork chops with a baked potato, and Chicken Fried Steak. The biscuits are homemade and were served with homemade garlic butter. The portions were large and no one left hungry. The do serve dessert, but we didn't even check it out. I thought my sirloin tips were a bit tough, but everyone else enjoyed their plates. The waitress was fun and the decor is interesting. western with branding irons and paintings. Dambar comes highly recommended and is considered the Best Steak House in town. For a price point, the three of us ate for just over $70 , including tip, with no alcohol or dessert.

Super friendly wait staff; fun cowboy memorabilia; reasonably priced food; good portions. Ask the staff for what's fresh and made on site - like the Five Berry pie and Cashew Chicken Salad. They'll steer you right. I can't recommend the side vegetables (ours were frozen, not fresh) but the cowboy beans were tasty.

Restaurant is reasonably clean with sawdust on the floors for effect. Ate there an hour before dinner rush. The menu seems a bit limited if you want less than a steak but it IS a steak house after all. Prices are reasonable. Hostess was not very friendly but waitperson was friendly and patient and attentive. Dambar burger and fries were standard and satisfactory but not a cut above. I had a side salad and plucked a few yucky wilted pieces of lettuce out of it. Bleu cheese dressing tasted, to me, like ranch dressing with bleu cheese dressing mixed in it. I would recommend it if you are looking for standard fare.

I got food to go from here. I ordered a New York strip Medium rare, I got medium well to well done. I also thought it was a little tough. I ended up throwing most of it out. The food is overpriced especially since they can't get a simple order like that right. I'd give them no stars if at all possible.

Great food and service. Portions were okay. Four of us dined together and all of us were pleased and satisfied. We would all go back again. Prices weren't too high as long as you don't order steak.
