After graduating from law school in 1979, firm founder, Thomas C. Damico, worked for 5 years as an assistant district Attorney for the East Baton Rouge Parish. In 1984, he left the prosecutor's office and began to apply his knowledge of criminal law in his own defense practice. Since then he has represented thousands of individuals, companies, and public officials. Our Attorney, Thomas C. Damico, is a hardworking advocate of defendant's rights and a lifelong student of the law. It is quickly apparent to clients and court officials that he enjoys criminal defense work and is very good at it. His success in state and federal cases has earned Mr. Damico a strong reputation among other defense Attorneys, prosecutors, and judges.

Brent Stockstill graduated from law school in 1989 and immediately began practicing as a prosecutor in the East Baton Rouge District Attorney's office. During the next 18 years of service in that position, Mr. Stockstill earned a reputation as a aggressive and successful trial lawyer. His performance in the job earned him the position of Section Chief in the District Attorney's office. As Section Chief he not only handled the most complicated and highly publicized cases in the section, but he was responsible for the training of other lawyers in the office as well as investigators and staff. It was that reputation, knowledge and experience that Mr. Stockstill had earned that caused Mr. Damico to seek him out for partnership in his firm. Mr. Damico needed an aggressive and experienced trial lawyer and sought to take the best one from the ranks of the District Attorney's office. The addition of Mr. Stockstill met that goal.

These two “lawyers” have done nothing for me. I keep receiving court appearance notices and I don’t show per the “advice” of Damico. My incident was now almost 7 years ago. I’ve moved out of the state and was told to do so. I am not a lawyer, but a professional I am. These two are the most unprofessional people that I have ever done business with. You’re better off representing yourself than hiring this firm. We haven’t gotten even a response in almost 3 years from either of them. No email, call, letter, nothing. It makes me wonder what they are actually doing? I wonder if they are married and even speak to their wives or family. I’m guessing they don’t and I pity them. I truly hope they read this and have a bad day, week, month, and year due to the lack of help they give. Put the cocktails and pills down lawyers, y’all signed up to assist people and assist you do not.

Didn't do nothing for my family member case. Prosecutor came with a plea deal and that's all Damico wanted don't waste your time or money he will not even try to put a defense together for your case. Never will he call you back he will only talk to you at court for 3 seconds.
