Service was good. Food was excellent. I purchased the combo meal which was $15.99. The price is a bit steep but it was good.Food: 5/5
Ordered the Spicy BBQ wings with fries! The sauce is not that spicy so I would have liked a little bit more heat on them but overall the flavor was good. They gave me a good amount of fries which I was happy about. Decently price considering the area.Food: 4/5
YUM YUM YUM! The sweet chili wings were absolutely scrumptious and for sure a must try. Their chicken tenders were not my favorite, but not my least either. I had the chicken tenders plain. I would like to come back and have them in one of many Dan and John’s sauces.
It's my first time trying out buffalo wings at "Don and John's Wings". It's a small place but their buffalo wings were delicious and crispy. There are different sauce options to pick from for the wings. It was served fresh and I also had their Tater-tots. Service was great. I enjoyed eating here.Food: 5/5
For the price the wings should be consistent. I have come here for the tater tots, buffalo wings and fries at times they are good and many times just ok. Eat it fresh don’t let it get cold. Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair Access available.
First time ordering frm danandjohns wings @dekalb market. Big disappointment. Ordered the mild "extra crispy" wings online. Guy at counter wasn't friendly & I was the only customer there during dinner when I picked up my wings. I went home & opened them up & they looked like plain wings, not buffalo flavored. There was barely any buffalo flavored sauce on the bottom of container. I tried 1 wing & it tasted like a plain fried chicken wing without sauce. So I took the wings out & poured the sauce on top of them & shook them up in my Tupperware container. They still taste like a plain fried wing, no Buffalo flavor. I dipped the chicken in the sauce & it was horrible. Barely any Buffalo flavor. It tasted like liquid butter & grease. I ended up not eating them. They weren't extra crispy by any means. Some areas were crispy, some soft but that should be normal without having to ask them to be extra crispy. I was so let down by this place. My weekly go to wing spot on Jay Street Buffalo Boss closed & I tried this place hoping it wld be just as good or better but it wasn't.
Stopped there today after a grocery run at Trader Joe's. This was my 1st time trying their wings so I asked the man at the counter about the sauce he would recommend. He just shrugged and his eyes quickly moved on to elsewhere like he couldn't be botheredI ordered lemon Pepper. Cold customer service aside I shrugged it off everyone is entitled to a bad day. He motioned me over when it was ready, after checking my order. I went about my long ride home. Upon opening my small box, I was startled to see my small wings sitting on top of a yellow sauce that looked to be butter. I also noticed the lack of speckles that indicated Lemon peppers wingsmaybe it was in the sauce?. After I sampled said sauce and took a small nibble, I deduced that it was indeed butter and nothing else. No lemon pepper at all. I had to add my own seasoning. I can say this it, reheated beautifully the wings were cooked well but flavorless. This coupled with the customer service was no bueno
Edit: F this place. "We cancelled your order, we don't have fingers." But you didn't and I have to fight with Grubhub to get resolution. They couldn't even reach the restaurant when calling! Edit: 5 to 3 stars. Autotip on a selfservice kiosk!? This is how you lose a customer. Yes, it can be edited but that's beside the point. This Buffalo transplant is a very happy camper right now. These are wings done right. Nice crisp skin. And celery and bleu cheese. *Chef's kiss* Even a bone bowl!
Their lemon pepper wings are much better than Wing Stop’s. Very succulent and delicious especially with a side of blue cheese and mac & cheese bites
It’s okay. Good for a quick bite, but if you want to sit and enjoy a meal there’s lots of other options in the market.Food: 4/5
