We stopped by the visitor center and Annie took us all around explaining the wildlife! She was very friendly and informative and the trail is absolutely gorgeous!

It's a beautiful place day or night. Many people come and park here at night for the very romantic view of the Pacific Ocean and the Dana Point Harbor. On this night however the local sheriff's deputies ran everyone off by getting behind them one by one and lighting them up until they left. The Sherrif never left his car nor give any reason for his behavior which was extremely unprofessional and totally without cause

Best view of ocean around, closes right after sunset should be open until at least 9pm, good view to park and sit or while walking a trail, good bathrooms, unnecessary staffed office with typical info on views.

Short little trail with great views.  Love to come here with my kids. The staff is always helpful, knowledgeable and accommodating.  They have binoculars to borrow for whale watching from the bluff,  and identification cards to borrow for the kids to help spot plant and animal life on the trail.

Friendly guide at the nature center. Great views, very informative! Loved hearing the foghorn and sea lions.
