Came here on a whim just looking for new hidden gems - did not disappoint! The restaurant itself is very clean. I love that there is a window and you can sit and watch as your dumplings are made to order. We did beef and onion and pork and celery. Our sides were steamed broccoli and the cold shredded potato salad. The combos are 15 dumplings and a side for 10-12. The food was delicious, moist, and hands down the best dumplings we’ve ever had. We also opted for boba tea. My son did Oolong and I did the Jasmine green tea. We will be back and sending as many of our friends as possible to come try them Out. Clean, great and friendly staff, fresh food, and delicious tea!
The dumplings were excellent. We tried pan-fried beef and onion, and steamed chicken and mushroom weekends only. You can see inside the kitchen and appreciate the great care the chefs are taking in hand-making the dumplings. What an awesome place! First time here and loved everything about it. The dumplings - you can get them either steamed or pan fried and they come in a variety of flavors. What is so cool is they are made fresh from scratch and they have a window so you can see the process right in the kitchen! They we so tasty The place was super clean and the service was super friendly!
Daniela’s is Delicious! The dumplings are FRESH I’m pretty sure they make them after you order them, they are so tender and moist, and FLAVORFUL!! The sauces are amazing! I recommend trying the vinegar sauce, with a little bit of the spicy sauce, with the beef dumplings! I’ve been coming here since they opened, but this is the first time I remembered to take a picture BEFORE I devoured them! Sooo yummy!
First time. $$$$75.00 for 57 dumplings and 3 boba tea jasmine boba was the best. Added extra dumplings. 2 adults 2kids The dumplings were just okay. I was expecting a bomb of flavor. My favorite was beef and onion. We ordered a little bit of everything. The chicken and mushrooms were okay. Shrimp pork and chives were okay. The sides were nothing special and sauces not the greatest. I don't know it was just average. We will not go back. They have a window where you can watch them make the dumplings. It was a cool experience for the kiddos. Very busy around 6pm. Cashier was not happy with me bc i ordered online and she thought it was a door dash pick up and we wanted to dine in instead. She told me to next time call. I was confused.
Delicious home made dumplings! Our family ordered chicken and mushroom, beef and onion and shrimp pork and chinese chives, all pan seared. You can actually taste the freshness of the dumplings. The pan fried skin are crunchy as we bite and the juice from the filling just melt in your mouth as you bite into each of them. Our favorite is the shrimp, pork and chinese chives filling. The only downside of freshly made dumplings is it took a long time to made them. We ordered Saturday lunch and took 45 minutes to get them. Overall, delicious dumplings, make sure to have plenty of time to order ahead
Very cozy dumpling place in downtown Libertyville. As the name suggests, they specialize in dumplings. They have a couple different options to choose from and you get 15 dumplings for about $10-15, which is a great deal. They also sell Boba, Mochi ice-cream, and a few other small treats for dessert or drinks. We got the chicken and Mushroom dumplings and the beef and onion dumplings. The chicken and Mushroom were good, but I'd recommend the beef dumplings for a stronger taste. The beef dumplings were our favourite. Will definitely come back again!
Love this place! Always have had friendly service and consistently amazing dumplings! We are not vegetarian, but the zucchini & egg dumplings are our favorite! We also like the pork & chives. You really can’t go wrong. The black tea with tapioca is also really good! We typically take out, but also enjoy dining in. There is limited seating, but I‘ve never been able to not find a spot at dinner time. Lunch may be busier! Vegetarian options: The zucchini & egg dumplings are our favorite! Kid-friendliness: They’ve always been nice to my kids, even when they get a little crazy! Parking: Parking is in the back, plentiful & very easy to get in and out of!
Great place for dumplings. Added bonus have having boba tea. Dumplings are flavorful and would recommend stopping if in the area.
Loved the Dumplings! I had the #4 dumpling pork, shrimp & chives steamed. Also took frozen beef & onion dumplings to go. I wish they had a sampler with all the flavors so I would know which one I liked the best and I can buy MORE to go!! The #5 is my favorite so far!!!!
