Dan has been my first and only "accountant" .  I always did my own taxes online and never had much need.  However, upon starting my sole proprietor business, I found out the importance.  First, Dan and his family (and staff that are like family) are wonderful.  Very kind, very supportive and warm.  I have since had Sandy also help me with my taxes and she was just as nice and knowledgeable.  Dan really knows everything when it comes to business and filing or keeping books.  Their fees are not cheap, but i'd rather spend the extra money and know I am getting everything I need, than spend $50-100 at a generic H&R and feel like a number and very likely not get all of the help I need.

Terrible experience.  Firm made a mistake in simple filing with social security number. IRS rejected it. They then never resubmitted. Found out months later when we were acccessed  2,000 in penalties . Dan Friebus said it was a computer glitch . He offered to write a letter to IRS to appeal.  We completed forms and dropped them off personally at his office. Six weeks later when I inquired found out they were still in his office . He never submitted again. Many phones calls to the office which are never returned. Unresponsive and very unprofessional. .
