The otherwise uniformly good experience by most staff was marred by rudeness of ... I did not catch her name so I can just describe... middle age caucasian female clerk. I came in around lunch time on Tue June 27 2017. She asked me if I needed any help. I had just dropped off my new bike for its first service, and was wondering if I could buy anything else while here, but could not think of anything yet, and so I said no thank you ... and soon afterward I thought while I'm here I could get some new bike gloves to make the trip worthwhile as possible. I live in the next county. Unexpectedly, this clerk actually told me she could NOT help me now, after I asked her for help like 15 seconds later. ??? Then she went ahead and helped me anyway, adding that I could try to look in the bike section for gloves.. which left me confused why she said she could NOT help me after offering help in the first place. She was not joking, as far as I could tell, as she was not smiling. I still dont get it. I did not mean to make this clerk upset. What I am supposed to respond with, other than no thank you?? Is she like talking to a police officer -- best to keep your mouth shut and keep smiling?? I guess she was upset at my no thank you?? To my thinking she gave a black eye to the rest of the staff's obvious efforts to make a nice customer experience at this store. In any case the bike dept was great today as usual just so you know. They are the best. You would think everyone who works at DandQ, should be aware they should try to make a happy experience for customers who drop 200 to 2000 dollars a month in this store. I would prefer good feelings from my visits. I cannot rationalize traveling all the way here to the next county for unnecessary distractions like this one today.

Top notch customer service. Read all the great reviews and decide to stop by to look for a pair of ski boots to buy. This was hands down the best customer service experience I've ever had. I can't say enough - the sales associates were down to earth, extremely knowledgeable, easy to talk to, etc. There was no "pushiness" at all. They certainly won over a customer for life today. Thank you D&Q for the brand you've obviously worked hard to build.

Best ski shop I've ever been to. Tony & Steve were the most knowledgeable ski boot salesmen I've ever dealt with. Didn't even end up buying anything and it wasn't one of the awkward salesmen/customer stand offs that everyone tries to avoid. I was there during a lunch break and they got me through 6 different boots and explaining their logic/selections the entire way. I was offered a beverage as I was trying boots on as well. Their witty banter was absolutely hilarious, made me want to quit my job and apply. Thanks again for all the help guys!

I've been a loyal D&Q customer for fifteen years and have spent thousands of dollars on bikes, skis and swim apparel. Today I tried to rent skis for my kids when I was told that the only way I can rent is to come back in Monday. I asked if they can be at least fitted because I could not come back Monday or Tuesday and call the order in, they said nothing could be done with an attitude. Your customer service sucks! I will never shop at your store again!!
