This place was a 10 out of 10! I would 100% recommend. The flavors blended so beautifully. They put things together that I just never thought to put on a taco. My husband and I left amazingly surprised today. They also had lovely live music and it was an all around perfect atmosphere for a nice fall day. Pictured: 2 taco and hush puppy combo 1- collard and corn bread taco 2- hot honey “simple” shrimp taco 3- hush puppies drizzled with honey. Perfection on a tray!
This was a great choice for lunch. The food was super flavorful and the service was talkative and friendly. Also not overpriced at all! I got two giant tacos and some hush puppies for just $12. Definitely worth checking out!
Literally so good. Always. Dark Shark is a regular in our household I always get the catfish taco However, I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars because of the hush puppies. I’m from MS so maybe I’m picky, but they can be hit or miss unfortunately. However, the honey on them really sets it off
Man, this place is just awesome. It's a food truck with a porch built next to it. The menu is so creative. I had a fried catfish and collards taco, and a beer cheese taco with hamburger. I'll be back!
Loved the unique tacos! The portobello and chicken adobe were delicious.
Beer cheese tacos Great buy and please get the very great fried deep peach me and my family went to Dark Shark today and my Wife and Son and me enjoy our self there today.
We had the pleasure of Dark Shark Tacos cater our beautiful Savannah wedding, food truck style. Thank you for an amazing event! Dark Shark did a fabulous job with helping keep the vibe of the wedding personalized, successful, and fun. Dark Shark provided fresh fruit and veggies for appetizers and five amazing, gourmet tacos with their famous hush puppies as the perfect side. These tacos had everyone drooling and thanking the good lord above that dinner was "all you can eat". I personally LOVED LOVED the pulled pork, fried pickle, and potato salad taco *chef's kiss*. But honestly their was no wrong choice when picking a taco off of our personalized menu. Brian, the chef, is an absolute foodie artist. Prior to the wedding we met for a food tasting to designed our personalized menu for our big day. Brian walked us through each masterpiece and helped us create a diverse and delicious menu. Russel, the main man of contact, is a saint. Not only did he take the time to answer our 1000 questions but also took our request to change things up like a champ. Russel's communication was on point and we were able to get answers/clarification within a day or two. Overall, Dark Shark surpassed our expectations and helped us create the perfect and most memorable night!
So close to home! And so glad we finally tried this out after passing it so many times. They have gotten very creative with tacos and done an excellent job making each one unique. I had the shrimp taco. Delish! And the portabello taco, also very good, but think I would prefer a sauteed mushroom. Also tried the catfish and collards taco. I will get this for myself next time!!!! Yum! And my friend's favorite was the chorizo. So, basically, not a bad choice here!
First time visiting. Collards and Catfish Taco was awesomeFood: 5/5
This food is disrespectful on many levels. Catfish tacos were dry. Tortillas tasted like it came out of a premade pack. And conceptually there’s no originality in this food. Its taken from multiple cultures and made into some warped fusion that doesn’t work.
