Story

“It’s hard to say what my best experience would be because one of the best things about the Moore School is that it’s so holistic. It gives you skills in many different areas and hones you into the leader you will become.” — Rachel Lunsford (B.S. '17)

“Getting a chance to have real-life engagement while in school before I’m thrown into it for my professional life was really important. The GSCOM Capstone project gives me a leg up on other students who might not have had that corporate experience.” — Ayana Moore (B.S. '17)

“This project gave me real-world experience that you would not get normally. You’re not just running an analysis. You’re running an analysis that actually matters and actually has some sort of effect on what people are going to be doing." — Alex Derrig (B.S., '16)

"I feel as though the Business at Moore program puts you in a real college environment early on. The group project helped me learn exactly what teamwork really is — all the personalities you have to deal with, the workload and the all-around feeling of someone else depending on you for success." — Destiny Chapman (B.S. '16)

"The Moore School gave me some unbelievable opportunities to interact with people from all over the world who brought different experiences and perspectives into the classroom. I really enjoyed it and felt like I really fit in." — W. Ford Graham (IMBA '06)

“The international business program taught me to expand my sight beyond my personal background and beliefs, both of which may be blinding at times. I realized that I can do anything I want to do because I am comfortable being uncomfortable." — Kady Watts (B.S. '16)

Well kept and new building. My classes have all been wonderful here. The global cafe has very nice seating to meet with people or study. My only complaint would be parking. Every day is a struggle to park for class. Overall, great school of business.

I didn't study business here. Went for some computer science lectures. It's an amazing building and excellent classroom facilities.

It's the new business school for USC. I just finished a degree here. Best known for International Business, it seems tons of students love to go to Santiago, Chile, even though I have no idea why. It's a super modern building and well...it's ugly. There I said it! It was supposed to be tan and green to represent the Palmetto Tree and well...sigh. It's ugly. And there is just too much wasted space. I know they were going for form, but there could have been twice as many classrooms, study rooms, and sitting space. There are these huge wide open areas with...nothing. no chairs, no tables, no desks, no classrooms. I mean, what were they thinking? It's already too small and it's brand new. And the air conditioning causes the rooms to get loud for a few moments then get quiet again. AND the podium terminals are already obsolete. They have VGA/aux, HDMI and NO USB type c. I mean in 3 years no one will use HDMI anymore. And the plugs for the tables are too small - a Mac charger won't fit. Overall the building is beautiful and modern and big but at the same time not enough space due to waste and the details were poorly thought out. The state went with the lowest bid to build it and it clearly shows. Very disappointing.
