Our books were a wreck for years, and taxes were not handled by a proper CPA firm that could identify missing expenses and incorrectly posted items. Mary went through our books and helped me clean them up, get them in proper standing, and actually show our REAL loss of income for taxes. I have known Gabe Helms as an auditor and as a CPA for almost 15 years.  I have found him to be extremely knowledgeable, honest, candid and pleasant in all my professional dealings with him.  Most importantly, Gabe has the ability to communicate accounting to the non-accountant so that I can comprehend and understand matters that I otherwise have no knowledge of.  He is almost always available and generous with his time and knowledge and has assembled a good staff that can back him up and serve his clients.

I have found his rates to be reasonable and in line with other CPA's that I have worked with in my professional career, but I have never thought that he has taken advantage and billed more than was necessary to get the job done.  In fact, he always seems to bend over backwards to give his clients value for work received.  I highly recommend without any reservation Gabe Helms and his firm to anyone who desires a smart, honest CPA .

We are now on our fourth year with Gabe for both our personal and corporate taxes.  He and his staff have always been professional, prompt, and patient with all of our questions and our needs.  He's taken the time to answer every email and phone call about tax implications of decisions and explain them clearly and concisely. His fees are very reasonable and the quality of care is exceptional.  We trust him professionally, we like him personally, and we highly recommend him!

We couldn't be happier with the EXCELLENT service we have received from Helms, CPA for years with our two businesses and our personal affairs.  Each staff member has always offered expedient help and diligent care.  They are highly competent and I cannot thank them enough for all the help and advice provided to us. I highly recommend this firm!
