STOP!!!!  Dealing with the actual location was A+ first rate. We decided to use them a second time. But then......2nd time we dealt with someone by the name of Jasmine through Datura was a nightmare. She had obviously mixed me up with another person when I called twice to make changes to the reservation. Both times the call got disconnected. She told me I was lying. My 12 year old and 15 year old are cracking up at her because while on hold, we were making jokes about waiting to talk to the correct person named Mary. "Mary, please pick up because this music is awful....Mary, I'm sorry that I didn't go to your party don't be mad, just pick up...." The music stopped and the call went "click". According to Jasmine, she not only transferred me and waited for Mary to pick up, she HEARD me and Mary talk before she got off her line. My daughter screamed a shrilling laugh when she heard her say that. I tried to tell Jasmine that she has only half of me right. I did ask for Mary after the 1st hang up but the second disconnect that she said she passed me to was a hold and then a hang up. She told me I was lying, that I was yelling (even though I had put my 15 year old son on to explain that she was mistaken) again, she hung up on me. DON'T USE THE TOLL FREE NUMBER. She insists that she can not find the reservation.....you mean the same one you couldn't find and then found and explained that I was talking to Mary so please hold for her? That same reservation that you couldn't find for the 2nd time today???? Then remember you found it and in your words...."stayed on the phone with you until you heard me speak to Mary?" Why would I be calling back if I spoke to Mary already? Sometime it pays to go with name brand because I can NOT imagine Avis customer service representative calling me a liar. That alone is worth the additional $100. PS. I have the recording of our conversation on my phone.....

UPDATE: The corporate office contacted me early Saturday morning (Christmas Eve) They resolved the changes I tried to make AND took my complaint VERY seriously.  I left it at 1-star only to catch your attention. The follow up to a problem speaks volume about a company and for that 5-stars suits them now!!!!

Got into PBI real late but Datura was there to pick me up even though we were delayed several hours. Dave greeted us at the counter with a smile and keys to a brand new Jaguar. Great cars - great service. They are my only choice when in Palm Beach.

Great place to rent a car! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They sent a driver to pick us up from our hotel- rented a car within 20 mins of our arrival for 45$ a day. When it came time to drop the car off, they also gave us a ride to the airport with no extra charge. The manager answered all of our questions as far as what good places around to eat, beaches etc. Great place to rent a car- cheap, fast, accommodating & friendly - what more can you ask for?

Got into the PBI airport without a car reservation and EVERY car was booked. A woman checking into AVIS gave me a reservation number she wasn't using at Datura (ACE) and I'm so glad I grabbed it. Very close to the airport, they pick you right up and a fast and easy checkin. I got a great brand new car very cheap and the manager made sure I had his cell in case I needed to get in touch. Easy check out and they drove me right back to the airport immediately.
