We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay here at the Davis Inn Motel. We were taking a mini vacation on our way home from picking up our daughter from Dallas airport when ran across this hidden gem. At nearly a third of the cost of most lodging in the area we found, this place is great! It's furnishings are nothing impressive but it is exceptionally clean and spacious, a double room and my husband and I and our 2 children were not on top of each other for once. It's less than 10 minutes to Turner Falls and about 15 to Chickasaw Recreation Area. The owner/operator Sherry has been fantastic the whole way from booking through stay. Never had to wait more than a minute or two for a response, we communicated through text. Food wise there is a fantastic, affordable diner just next door and Pizza Hut and the dollar general only a minute or two away is super convenient! The only complaints I could come up with is that there is no coffee pot in room and there was some road noise but not a lot and we were in the room closest to the road so if that's a problem you could always request one towards the back. There is wifi, cable, solid water pressure and COLD AC. We will definitely be staying again on our next trip!

Our car broke down in Davis and we stopped at this motel. The owner is an amazing lady and it was a great little place to stay at while our car was getting looked at. Would definitely stay here again! Highly recommend!

Clean friendly cheap and a comfortable bed. And water pressure is great. Breakfast would have given 5th star.
