I have left 6 messages for the general manager as well as emails. He has not returned one call. When I spoke to a desk agent a month ago he said that he never returns calls, boy was he right! As a former hospitality executive this is not acceptable. We booked a room for one of our employees for the summer, they increased the price after three months of staying and have charged for tax when he was there for almost 4 months. The previous general manager was awesome! We have had our employee stay here for years and have never had a problem. It is a shame that the new general manager does not possess hospitality skills especially when he is in the business. Extremely disappointed!!

Desk attendant, didn't catch his name, helped us out a lot by holding our bags for us while we were at the UofM game. We took the train in and didn't have a place to keep them. Glad he was able to help. Rooms were sub part quality but to be expected for the price. I'd stay again, but probably wouldn't be my #1 pick

It's clean and cheap, but the property itself is not overly well-maintained. They recently replaced the carpet and mattresses. The staff is friendly. The location is close to shopping and fast food. There is a pool shared with the Comfort Inn next door.

This is by far the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. Smells so bad everywhere you walk. Rooms look like a basement with plastic on the beds that are not comfortable. There were bugs in the room. Even the outlits don't work. Worst hotel ever. I recommend that you don't stay there. Cheep price but a terrible hotel. Period..

This is my first time ever writing a review. The only reason I'm doing so, is to warn other people from stepping foot into this place. Here are a few reasons: 1. The rooms were absolutely disgusting, i.e. smells bad, dirty carpets, cracking walls and wallpaper, cigarette butts all over the balcony, moldy bathrooms with cracks and holes in the shower stall, hair in the bathtub, air conditioner didn't work, every channel on the T.V. was fuzzy. 2. The service was just as bad as the condition of the hotel. Upon arrival they had our block of rooms mixed up. The ended up over charging one person in our group, kept the ID of another person in our group, couldn't split the rooms up for billing, and the staff was about as friendly as a rabid raccoon. 3. The price for one night was $169.00. Granted it was a game weekend but to charge someone $169.00 a night to stay in a roach motel is shameful. This price included a continental breakfast which upon one look at the spread, will make you reconsider instantly and head across the street to the Bob Evans. The only reason this place should still even be standing is to film horror movies in it that require a scary location. Otherwise, it needs to be demolished. I'm thinking of calling Days Inn Corporate office and seeing if they would be willing to comp my Hepatitis shot that I went and got after my stay.
