The staff at this facility so far have been very courteous and helpful. Unfortunately the facility itself is rather dated, as are the rooms. The air conditioning unit is VERY old, though it did an okay job of keeping the room cool. The best is stiff, which is the way I like it. The decor is dated and there aren't *easily* accessible outlets, though they can found if you looked or unplugged something. Overall, the room gets the job done. It definitely suited my needs, and this is where I stay on my yearly visits to the area.

The flies are a big problem for me. I guess when there are no other hotels in town you can get away with a filthy establishment. To bad. Beautiful little town. Awful hotel.

This place looked like a run down low income apartment building. At entrance the carpets were filthy, elevator had flies in it, and upon entering our room there were hundreds of flies coming from everywhere. My husband spend three hours killing them in the bathroom into the tub and even broke the fly swatter borrowed from the front desk which led him to use the phonebook to kill more flies. There was also a window fly catcher that was disgusting and never cleaned that was full of hundreds of dead flies. This room was obviously not used recently. It almost feels like people lived there permanently on welfare. We will never come back and would never recommend thjs place, skip this town I would sleep in my car instead!

I only give 1 star because 0 was not an option. Awful experience @ this hotel. Booked room here ONLY because it is the ONLY hotel in town. This is a very run-down hotel. I will try to keep this short: NO signage at main entrance; overwhelmed front desk clerk who didn't acknowledge us (we were the only ones at the desk); check in, room was dirty, dusty, and the sheets had dried (possibly vomit) on it; change rooms, not much better, but the sheets were clean; shower curtain had black mould on it; shower head was plugged so only trickled water; hallways, lobby, doors & windows were filthy. All this for a mere $149!!!! Clerk on check out never asked how our stay was..... Never again!! Save your $$$ & stay at one of several lovely B&Bs in town.

Poorly managed hotel. Rugs in hallways look like they haven't been vacuumed in a month. Room was dirty. Wallpaper was peeling. Overcrowded with bad furniture. Outside of building wasn't much better. Very dirty parking lot. More weeds in flower beds than flowers. Would recommend staying in arnprior or petawawa. Avoid this place if you can!
