Try the cheese omelette as made to
order and delicious. We had a beer before dinner 
and was surprised at the cost as only

I and my wife both enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were larger rooms so it seemed than many we stayed in. The staff were very good. We  both really enjoyed the full breakfast. A lot of the locals seem to eat here. Very nice community on the whole. The locals really take care of this town. If we are back in the area and I hope we are, we will stay here again.

My wife and I and three others in my family have stayed here twice(all at the same time on both occasions). We had two adjoining rooms and both were clean and comfortable. This motel is older and the furnishings reflect that. For the price (over the Thanksgiving holiday, both times) this motel is a very good deal. It's far from fancy but it's clean and comfortable. If you can't abide "dated", as some have mentioned, then you'll need to drive on down the road to Grand Junction or Montrose. For the average, reasonable person you will be well satisfied. The staff are very nice, helpful and accommodating. The on-site restaurant offers a typical small town western style breakfast. It's just right and again it's not fancy but it is clean and nice, and the staff are just like you and me. Regular folks trying to make a living and enjoy a decent life. This is where the "Deplorables" will be happy to stay.

We are on our honeymoon and called them to verify they had rooms and confirm the online price, they did. When we arrived they charged the normal rate which was higher then quoted, we reminded them of the price quote and with out hesitation they corrected the rate and congratulated us. We will definitely come back here again.

Upon arriving with my family for graduation weekend the service was terrible from the front desk staff. I've never had this experience with a hotel before. I was instantly accused of not making a reservation when I had and when I inquired about their billing process related to incidental holdings and charges the individual helping me talked to me as if I was stupid when in fact she gave me the wrong information. 

The room was sufficient and clean. It is definitely an out dated hotel and could use a renovation but it was clean and did what it needed to. The housekeeping was not on the same page, the first morning we were asked by two different people. The first one we directly told no and when the second came we asked if they could come back in an hour so we could leave we were told no because they had time restrictions. The next two days they didn't even both to clean our room or even ask. 

The breakfast arrangements were extremely unorganized and we ended up just eating at a local cafe down the road because it wasn't worth the hassle. 

We ended up checking out a day early and the front desk agent who helped me was a million times more professional and genuine than the girl who checked us in and she deserves to be recognized for caring about her customers.
