Basic hotel that needs a serious upgrade & cleaning! Had reserved room for a funeral the next morning & pickings were slim to none due to conference. Arrived @3am  & light switch didn't work in room, afraid to allow my feet to touch the floor - its so nasty, the dust & dirt visible on the AC unit was ridiculous, TV base scratched up, & water dripping from tub, toilet seat needs replacing etc. Update just fell out of the tub because nothing on floor of tub to prevent slipping & found a cockroach in the coffee maker - disgusting!!!

I was very uneasy about booking here because of the reviews but I thought I would go ahead. I was very pleasantly surprised! Carter the Manager was awesome!! The Suite was very roomy and nice!!! The breakfast was good and the morning staff was awesome!

We were in town for the eclipse and every hotel room in the city was booked, so we had no option but it to stay here. The room was small and smelled musty. There were fleas in the room when we arrived. The bathroom door was covered with so many layers of paint it wouldn't close all the way. The trash can exterior had a thin layer of brown slime on it. We asked for an extra blanket and pillow and were told the hotel had no extra blankets or pillows. It was an unpleasant night to say the least. We won't be staying at a Day's Inn again.

For the most part it was good. There was a slight smell but not a nasty one. I was concerned when I found a small cockroach on the shower curtain. Personally I can handle that, but really shouldn't be something I find in a hotel.

Front desk group was great, room very nice, breakfast area needs more food choices and coffee was cold even after telling attendant, no sugar for coffee was very disappointing,
