Booked last minute after having a terrible experience at another hotel next door, and were helped immediately by the 24hr receptionist. We booked a gorgeous king suite with large living room with small kitchenette, and a large bedroom all at a surprisingly affordable rate. Had direct access to the beach and enjoyed the outdoor pool. We were assisted immediately when asking for extra shampoo or towels and staff was very kind. They provided free breakfast and snacks during the day such as popcorn, cookies and beverages. Everything was very clean and sanitary and aesthetically pleasing! Was one of the best decisions of our trip!

We made a last minute decision to come to the Outer Banks since we'd never been here before and wanted a better spot to see the eclipse. We booked here no problem, and for a decent price. The lobby is gorgeous, original from the 1930s. Admittedly, the room we were given was probably the smallest motel room I've ever seen, but it was cozy, and suited us just fine. Everything was clean, the staff was very friendly, and very easy access to the beach. We'd be happy to stay here again!

Super friendly service and a clean room. The beds were comfortable and it was quiet. It honestly was more than I expected from a Day's Inn especially at such an old facility. I was very pleasantly surprised.

Great, helpful staff. Right on beautiful Kill Devil Hills beach. Drawback, for off season room was small considering price.

I would give it a zero if I could. Room smelled was dark dank and a gap under door to outside. Who knows what could have slithered in...ugh. also have 6 flea bites. 200 a night?? Are you kidding. Never again!!
