Great service and super friendly staff. Thunder Bay was booked solid because of the Junior World Series of Baseball tournament going on. We had to call a number of hotels, where some were rude and some not even answering. When we called the Days Inn, we were served by Andrew who was very helpful and was able to get us a room, when we arrived the room had been double booked, but Andrew quickly arranged an upgrade for us. I would highly recommend this hotel, great staff, clean rooms and well located close to a few restaurants.

It was a great stay at this Days Inn. The staff was warm, had excellent suggestions on local places. Rooms were spacious, clean. We would stay again.

Friendly staff. Price was competitive, clerk matched an online quote. Room was excellent, we had the king suite which has a separate bedroom. No noise noticed from the hall. Room overlooked a wooded area. Breky was usual fare. I would recommend.

After a very long drive of trying to find a hotel in Wawa on towards Thunder Bay we stopped at the Gulf Days Inn. Of course they were book solid but the front desk clerk called there other site and booked one of the last rooms for us. GPS sent us on a long route of course nut when we got there we walked into the Days Inn exhausted and hoping there was still a room left. I am sorry I didn't get the front desk gentlemen's name but thank you to the wonderful welcome and understanding the you had two people and two service dogs who were zombies and just needed to put their heads on pillows. We opened the door to our room knowing we got the Jacuzzi suite but were pleasantly surprised on how big and clean it is and very well laid out. If we felt more in the mood the bottle of white wine supplied by the hotel would have been great but the nice firm bed was calling our names. Great night sleep on a firm mattress and great pillows. The call of nature hits the dogs early in the morning so off I go out the door with the two dogs only to stop dead as I see two deer staring back at us. WOW! Didn't expect that. And, I guess there is a family of red foxes living close by as well. We backed off to give the deer their space and went back inside. Got sat I recommend this place for tried travelers.

Decent accommodations. Clean. Friendly staff. No scrambled eggs or bacon for breakfast though they did have blueberry waffle mix. Though that also left something to be desired.
