The amenities here are great and I mean with the best of campgrounds. On the other hand, it's not what I'd consider a getaway as the campsites are shoulder to shoulder. My preference is a state park where there is more space of all sorts. We stayed in a clean cabin during the summer if 16' and the smoke was barely tolerable. I consider myself as outdoor oriented and to me the experience left a lot to be desired. My idea of camping doesn't coincide with this form.

We were placed in a remote area in the dark with no lighting. The color of the water was yellow and made you think twice about using it in any way. The truly poor issue is that they never bothered to warn us about any thing. Although we did show up after the office closed, we spoke to them on the phone the same day, no mention of the water. Plus, they easily could have given us a spot closer to where all others were. Briefly ... we won't return and don't suggest you to go either. Find another place.

Perhaps the finest KOA sites I've been to... the staff is fantastic.

This is a great campground! They make it super easy to relax! Order a pizza when you arrive and by the time you're setup it's being delivered to your site! That makes it so nice not having to cook the first night arriving, just relax! Also the Ranger Vic show was great for the kids!

Nice staff. Very clean. Tight sites and roads. Poorly placed dump station. Too much gravel. Very nice pool, restrooms and showers. Pricey and a lot of extra charges. Well maintained. Chose site wisely. We stayed at back of park in 34 foot fifth wheel.
