Douglas is one of the most professional and dependable people in the industry that I've come across.  We were very impressed with his attention to detail, high level of service, and expertise with our commercial TI renovation.  We would not hesitate to recommend him and will be calling on him to assist us in our future projects.

Punctuality:
Doug met me at the site location on time (I was a few minutes late getting copies done at Kinko's) and he was ready to work.  He most likely there early, but didn't want me to feel bad.

Quick:
His turnaround time is fast, faster than what other designers can promise and/or deliver.  After the site visit, he followed up with a few questions to confirm a few details by phone and email.  He works tirelessly and was able to get me a first draft within 2 days, instead of the originally guaranteed 3.  I had the set in PDF format, ready to print, sent via email by the end of the 3rd day.  You can count on him to meet your deadline.

Expertise:
Not only is he an expert on CAD, but his experience with knowing what plan reviewers require and expect, is phenomenal.  It speaks volumes to have plans approved with little to no request for clarification or revision (the actual wait time for your municipality's approval process is an entirely different matter).  He is able to offer suggestions, alternate ideas, easy solutions rather than complicated fixes, and also explanations on why something may or may not work better.  He caught a few details that I did not take into consideration (plumbing locations and space planning) that made the end result better.

Service:
Douglas doesn't just deliver a set of plans.  Whereas with other designers, once they deliver the plans, you have to pay for edits, revisions, or corrections because of additional time incurred.  His service also includes the followup, the expediting, and providing a point of contact to the plan reviewer.  This is included in the price and makes him the absolute best value.  If you've ever had to go through this process before, make sure you ask Douglas how he can make it easier and better for you this next time around.

Communication:
Douglas is connected.  You can reach him via email, phone, text, etc.  His response time is very fast, but keep in mind his current workload/meetings with other clients.  He will let you know if there's going to be a delay in reaching him.  Otherwise, you can just leave a message if you have a change/edit that you'd like to make.  The next time you hear back from him will probably be an email with an attachment.  THEN you'll get a phone call.  I was very impressed with his work ethic.

Contact Douglas and let him guide you.  It will be evident right from the get-go that you can trust him.

While working on a whole house remodel we needed a set of as built plans showing the changes that we would like to make, Doug was able to take our sketches and turn them into construction documents with a fast turn around.

I was in the process of getting city permits for an office build out and was in a major time crunch. Hi folks!

While searching for a graphic designer, I found DC Designs through Craigslist. Doug provided our restaurant with the right price and great fast service. While waiting for the health department to approve our floor plans Doug provided us with, he would consistently check in with us to see if we needed any changes made to our plan. I thought that was awesome and very nice of him to do on his own time. If you're looking for affordable, fast and friendly service choose DC Designs. I am very pleased with his work and I recommend him to everyone who is reading this!

DC Designs was able to get my tennant improvement project through the permitting stage quickly, and for a very reasonable price.  The quality was top-notch, and the service was fast and reliable.  I will definitely hire DC Designs for my next TI project!!
