Was working on the grounds today and snapped some pics during our lunch break

Very interesting place and great tour...

JD girl,  it was closed we drove by after hours however the grounds are beautiful.

Amazing experience. Highly encourage anyone in the Quad Cities to check out a piece of History hidden away up the hill in Moline that looks over John Deere Seeding plant. Lots of history. Plus you get to leave with a slice of cake

What a beautiful home! Being bound to a wheelchair I thank God for their outdoor lift! It allowed me to get in to the main level to participate in this particular event. The antiques were breathtaking! If you're able to get in on a tour, I highly recommend it!

The Deere family connection to the Quad Cities has literally helped make the Quad Cities internationally known and this house has a large role in that history. The house is amazing on its own even without its historic connection.  It's also a real asset to the civic aspects of the Quad Cities as many non profit groups and educational groups are allowed to meet here.  The workmanship and woodwork in this house is extremely impressive.  I think most anyone could find something interesting about visiting this house and would enjoy spending some time here.  I'll add that they have an open house during the Christmas season and it's always a good time for all who attend.

We love the Deere-Wiman House! If you haven't yet, take one of their free tours! The staff is so knowledgeable and so flexible. I took my three kids 7, 5, and 3 and they loved it! Our tour guide was able to adjust her tour to make it engaging and age appropriate for them as we were the only ones that day. There are also several wonderful family events put on throughout the year, like the concert in the lawn we recently attended!

Very disappointed that current John Deere does not have any part in restoration and maintaining of John Deere history. A bit disappointed we couldn't go thru entire house. Other than that very cool
