Phenomenal Mexican restaurant! We absolutely Loved everything about it. They service was impeccable. Our server was so kind to our daughter who came with us. For example he noticed that she had dropped a large piece of her fish taco on the ground and came a few minutes later with some fresh fish to replace the taco that dropped. The interior is fresh and fun. Would highly recommend going here for any of you taco needs!!! Parking is somewhat limited
Wow just wow. Amazing food. Amazing service! The specialty drinks they have are amazing! And their tacos and their Chile verde is mouth watering delicious. 10/10 would recommend and bring all my friends here. Did I mention the amazing service?
Tried Del barrio Cafè for the first time today and was very pleasantly surprised by the authenticity of the food. Everything is made fresh the guacamole and the homemade tortillas were Outstanding . Genuine Mexican flavors. Clean establishment. Staff attentive to customers needs. This is my new favorite Mexican food spot in the neighborhood. Highly recommended!!!!
FINALLY FINALLY FINALLY found a good taco place!!! I honestly wasn’t even that hungry, so I was just going to order the mushroom taco I don’t eat meat, but the waitress said they had a special of all three veggies tacos and a side of rice or beans if I would prefer to have that. I obliged, opted for the beans, and thought I would likely be bringing home leftovers. Nope! It was so good, I couldn’t help but cleaning my plate - despite my pants getting severely tight in the process. My friends ended up placing another order of tacos to-go so they could enjoy them at home chicken tinga and fish, that’s how good it was! I’ve never had such delicious and perfectly cooked vegetarian tacos and am still trying to determine which one was my favorite because they all were amazing! I also highly recommend the ginger drink. The service was extremely fast and prices were great. Will be a regular at this place!
Excellent carna Asada tacos! Their fresh chips and salsa are definitely better than other Mexican restaurants I have been to. Very fresh and unique. I could get bag and chips and salsa to go because they are that good! Not store bought for sure.
This place is an absolute hidden gem for tacos! Their tacos are phenomenal, seriously some of the best I’ve had! I ordered a birria taco, Yucatán pork taco, and a carne asada. All were amazing but the birria and Yucatán pork were my favorite. My husband ordered 2 Al Pastor and 2 cheesy Asada tacos and was just as impressed as I. The cheesy Asada was his favorite. However, as a fan of authentic Mexican food I didn’t love their tamales or tres leches cake but their tacos alone could carry this place. My daughter also loves their happy burritos and the chips served with chips salsa come out fresh and warm. We will definitely be back.
Delicious!!! Coming from Southern California, I'm always skeptical of trying Mexican food while visiting other states. I was pleasantly surprised, their tacos were Delicious and their chips are definitely made in house. A lot of reviews talk about 3 tacos not being enough, I was super full after my 3 tacos. The price point really isn't very high, 3 Delicious tacos for 12 bucks is so worth it!
Del Barrio is as great, authentic place to eat right off state street. The food was very good! We really enjoyed the things we got. We had the special tamale meal smothered with chili verde pork with rice and beans. That was super good! The chicken inside was a bit dry, but the sauce made up for it. My partner throughly enjoyed his birria tacos too! The ginger lemonade was definitely my favorite. It was perfect!! I love ginger and it was delicious. I wanted 4 more!
Very clean, trendy and fun decor. Excellent service with a very positive attitude. Food was good, tortillas were just a little charcoal/burnt tasting and I prefer a thicker salsa. It was very watery Also, I ordered sides of pico de gallo at $1 each but was charged $1.50 each, so check your bill at the end. The guacamole was delicious as was anything pork. I will definitely go again and order something other that fish tacos. Parking could be difficult during busy times and getting there can be tricky.
This is what I think about eating when I want tacos!! And took home leftovers! Two of us got nachos, fish tacos, birria tacos, horchata, and triple berry lemonade. They also serve a small basket of chips with red sauce when you sit down. Thick homemade chips, everything warm when you get it, and fast at 1 PM. More parking than expected in the back and big 6 person booths.
