We visited Del Frisco’s for my husbands birthday as we wanted a nice meal to celebrate the day in style. We were definitely no disappointed and as soon as we arrived and seated to our table we were treated so special with very attentive service from our waiter Michael. We both could not decide to choose from the menu and Michael explained in great detail what was available and about the quality of the steaks. Me and my husband both chose the ribeye with mash and asparagus and when it arrived it looked amazing, but when we tasted our steak it was even better and it melted in your mouth with so much lovely flavours we both said to each other that it was the best steak we have ever had. We found this restaurant so relaxing with no rush from the staff to get us out and I would say that if you get the opportunity to try this place please do as you definitely will not be disappointed and we would highly recommend and if we visit New York again we most definitely will be visiting again. Nothing was too much trouble with the staff at this Resturant and it was such a wonderful experience. Thank you also for the special touch with the cake for Richards birthday it was so kind of you and it was also delicious.
Steak was perfectly cooked. Medium Rare. The tuna tartare was delicious. The sides were okay. Great wine selection. The Del Frisco’s Cabernet Sauvignon was my favorite. Just didn’t like how the waiter poured the wine, I personally do not like when red wine is on a white table cloth. I felt the service at the bar was a lot better while we were waiting for our table to be ready. Waiter seemed overwhelmed. We were in the cellar level, maybe that’s why. I guess try to get a table on the ground level.
If you’re looking for an impeccable meal with amazing plating look no further. Our experience here was beyond phenomenal! From the moment you’re greeted you will feel special. Erik was our server and he was not only knowledgeable about parings and selections, but personable as well. Travis, the GM checked on us middle meal and made us feel special and we watched him do this to many customers. The atmosphere and the creations of the Chef rank this as a 5 star! Make sure to come here and create memories! Del Frisco has it right all the way around! Be sure to notice, as well, everyone who compliments the wait staff. They have multiple people servicing your table. Simply a must go to place! So blessed! Travis, Erik and crew thank you for being so amazing! Best wishes for continued success
Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse truly sets the gold standard for fine dining. From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted with a luxurious ambiance that perfectly sets the stage for a memorable evening. The service is impeccable—attentive, yet unobtrusive, ensuring a seamless dining experience from start to finish. The star of the show, without a doubt, is their steak. Each cut is cooked to perfection, offering a symphony of flavors that melts in your mouth, complemented by their selection of expertly paired wines. The side dishes are equally divine, each prepared with the utmost care and perfect for enhancing the main course. Not to be overlooked, the dessert menu rounds off the evening with a selection of sumptuous treats that are both decadent and elegantly presented. Whether it’s a special occasion or a treat yourself night, Del Frisco’s delivers an exquisite culinary journey that’s hard to match. It’s more than just a meal; it’s a dining event that’s bound to leave a lasting impression!
We just loved the place !! The food, ambience, interior, staffs, hospitality -- everything was perfect. We were looking for a nice place to have steak for weekend dinner and Del Frisco's reviews were found to be great to reserve a table. We were happy about the decision to stop by this beautiful place. The moment you enter, you will be made feel special. Foods were amazing! The entrée bread was freshly baked, the crabmeat was delicious, the prime ribeye was perfect done and so was the broccolini; lastly the tiramisu just melted in our mouth. Drinks were served wonderfully. Our server was extremely cordial and suggested good items. The staff in the toilet was ready to hand you towel as soon as you were done. Above everything the GM stopped by our table to know about experience, food quality, serving time etc which made us understood that they take care of customers well and opinions matter to them. Overall excellent dine-in experience. The place is very popular and almost full over the weekend so better to reserve a table beforehand.
My husband and I went here on a Saturday night for dinner for our anniversary. The food and service was delicious ! Having an appetizer, a steak and a side to share was more than plenty - recommend ! The staff is very friendly and courteousFood: 5/5
Came here for a business lunch and was surprised the offerings for lunch had limited interaction with the specialty dishes they were known for. Beef medallions are okay, and the Del Salad is interesting but perhaps it’s worth coming only if you want the full steakhouse dinner experience. Service is very friendly and pleasant though!Food: 4/5
Just great. No ifs.... no buts.... Just a great overall experience Met at the door by the most friendly host. Really engaging whilst remaining professional and polite. All our servers were the same with a special shout out to Josh and the food. . . . Nothing short of exceptional I'd definitely give thus a 5 stats and recommend to anyone in the area
I don’t know if it was because we went on Valentine’s night - there were a lot of people, so maybe the chefs were just trying to get everything done as fast as they can, but our experience here was kind of subpar compared to other steakhouses in the city. The servers were definitely lovely and pleasant. We weren’t offered the bread and butter so we asked our server about it, to which she said unfortunately they weren’t available anymore. But to our delight ten minutes later we got the breaded butter and it was probably the highlight of our dinner. For the actual food that we ordered, the filet mignon, which we ordered medium rare, was very much rare instead. The mashed potatoes were kind of basic, nothing special. We also ordered the ribeye, medium rare, and luckily that one tasted very good. The crab cake was also delicious, although it was very small. However, for a higher-end establishment, we were really expecting more. There wasn’t any plating or anything, it just seemed like not a lot of effort was put into our food which was disappointing.
Del Frisco’s has a great ambiance and location that makes you feel you’re going to have an amazing steak! But the results are not great at all. For the price you’re paying you can get a better steak almost anywhere. We had two different cuts med-rare and while 2/3rd of the steak was good the last 3rd of both had a lot of tough tendons or fascia that made it inedible. We even saw another table have the same issue and spit out the tough meat like we did. Even if the steak was not out of this world, I don’t expect this from a restaurant of this level. The staff was alright for the most part but when they asked if the food was good felt like a formality and not genuine care and by the time we could answer had already moved to another table. What was weird was we weren’t offered the bread and noticed other tables got it which felt a little off. If I go back it would only be for the crab fried rice and the butter cake. Overall, disappointing experience because even if they steak was to “taste” I atleast expect it to be a good cut, or the sever being concerned when you can see big chunks of uneaten food on the plate.
