A lovely place for a picnic with friends and family. You can catch glimpse of deer if you're lucky. Lovely lake for kayaking on mild weather days.

Beautiful place to come with your family for a nice swim, kayaking, or even a boat ride. We came here and did all of these. Enjoyed to the full. Beautiful view.

Gorgeous park with beautiful trails and a lake. Simple campsites. You do feel like you've gotten away from everything up here. If making camping reservations, it's better to go through the website. You can only book same-day plus one additional night when you come to reserve in person.

Great place, but absolutely no cell reception! Seriously, no reception so if you are planning a get together make sure everyone has a satellite photo of where to meet up. I had people looking for us for over an hour. There are two land line pay phones if absolutely necessary. Alright, that aside, the place is great. The picnic areas are spacious, the park is clean, they have a small gift shop that sells bags of ice. They have kayak and paddle boarding rentals. They water is calm so kayaking is nice. Oh and they have life guards, and fully functional rest rooms with changing areas. There are multiple parking lots, so again, if you are planning a gathering I highly recommend getting situated beforehand. Have fun.

I went camping for years there and its been really fun, you can rent boats, and much more. Uo could go hiking. Just remember to pick a good spot because there is a lot of sun. But overall really good place. Plus it has a beach on the other side.
