The Delaware County Health Department is organized for the purpose of health promotion and communicable disease prevention for the entire Delaware County community. Risk reduction and public health awareness are directed toward individuals, of all ages, to achieve optimal health. The department will facilitate programs that educate, enforce and provide services for the promotion and

I am not very impressed with the health department.  My daughter is needing to get a learners permit and when I was issued her birth certificate her name was spelled wrong on it.  When I went today to get a corrected one I was charged $15 even though they made a mistake and spelled her name wrong.  I don't believe I should have been penalized for their mistake as I would not have needed another copy of the certificate if her name had been spelled correctly on the original one.  On top of that when I was complaining about having to pay for their mistake the employee stated "You know I don't have to give this to you."  Not very professional.

Fast service. Needed a copy of a birth certificate. Staff very friendly too.

Well I live in New Castle and I have wasted a full tank of gas coming back and forth for the last two days. Now its Friday and im back again it is only 1:38pm and the doors are locked and no one is here.
