Giving one star is a gift. The billing and money takes presidence over patient care. They won’t let you be seen if you have the slightest money owed on your balance on your bill. Their front desk staff may as well be collection agents as They are rude and treat you like you're trying to take something from them. They charge 50.00 for missed appointments. There are home made signs every where you look tell you if you don’t do this/that you will be charged. Not very much on the walls about cardiovascular issues. I just learned that they do Balance Billing. This means they charge you for what the insurance doesn’t pay and turn you into collections which most people would just pay it so they’re not in collections long enough for it to effect their credit report. This practice of Nalancr Billing is illegally in Delaware unless the make you sign a consent. I’m sure this is done in a sneaky manner. So they cancel appointments not even asking or caring if a patient is experiencing cardiovascular problems.

I have been seeing doctors at this office for years and have never had a problem until today. After my visit, the receptionist told me my bill was $166.00. it has been $132.00 for all my previous visits so I asked her why there is a difference today. She didn't know and asked another girl why is was so much and the girl acknowledged her and snapped, "Go ask Obama!". I was shocked at her comment and asked her if she thought I was a lowlife or a playtoy by disrespecting me in that way. She just laughed at me. I have never been so disrespected in my life. I believe that doctors don't realize how badly their patients are treated and should pay more attention to their employees. I think that the office staff shoud treat their patients with respect and kindness, not sarcasm. This has nothing to do with my medical care, I like my doctor and the rest of the doctors their are great doctors, but I will not return because of the way I was treated.

The only reason I gave this two stars is because the stress test staff was very nice and did a wonderful job. I received a notice in the mail that said that I missed a certified letter from the office and because I work up north I was not going to be able to get the letter so I made a call to the office. I asked the front desk if they could just tell me what the letter was about, was put on hold twice and then directed to someone's voicemail. I called back and said that I really just want to know what the letter is about because I will not be able to get to the post office as I work up north and am not home before the post office closes and then was put on hold again and asked if I wanted the office managers voicemail. I told them I wanted to know what the letter was about and really did not care for voicemail. After holding a couple moments longer I got the office manager who then told me she had to speak to the other staff person because she did not have the letter to discuss with me. After the other person I spoke to told me it was a termination of care letter. So clearly someone is lying to me and doesn't have the guts to tell me that they just decided to stop seeing me without even a phone call. They dont need to worry about terminating my care because I did not plan to go back there to begin with. The front office staff is APPAULING, and they have no clue how to use "the new system" they have. The first time I came in I waiting for 30 minutes to try to pay the co-pay and finally she said she couldnt figure out to charge me and they would send me something in the mail. Then I had to reschedule an appointment and when I called in they told me that their system was down and they couldnt schedule appointments. Then they day I finally got an appointment I waited over an hour for my stress test.
