Katie is amazing! So sweet, helpful and my concerns were all thoughtfully taken care of! If you have the chance, be sure to ask for her! Another worker I think she was also Katie or maybe just Kate was also amazing! So friendly here!
My bestie and I were on a FUN shopping day searching many area stores for her kitchen countertop/floor project. Tile Market has LOTS of samples, but this is where the good ended for us... When walking in the receptionist pointed us to the vinyl flooring and quartz countertop area. We figured someone would come over us help after the staff meeting was over.... NOPE. After about an hour of us looking around, we approached the corral of about 6 workers with their heads hung deep into their computers. It was painfully obvious each were trying to avoid eye contact with us. Finally, my friend approached one worker specifically and asked for help. To her credit, she got up from her chair and showed us a few vinyl flooring options and then got someone else to show us the quartz slabs in the back. This young man 3 months employed was very friendly and wanted to help. He was training another new hire and brought us to look at the slabs. After we looked and he tried to answer our questions, he brought us to the "tile specialists". Kate was NOT interested in helping us apparently a theme here. We clearly bothered her by getting prices for 3 different quartz options. Quite frankly, she was rude. She actually said with teenage-like attitude, "I can't read this handwriting, what does this even say?". Woah. This is where you lost us as customers. Not good business: my friend's job was easily $20,000+ and I plan on redo my kitchen within the next few months, also. We have rated 'Tile Market' 2 stars: 1 for the large sample size and another for the helpful young man you brought us to the slabs I wish I could remember his name. Too many good stores in the area to deal with uninterested and rude "specialists". Moving on!
It’s bigger than their location in Lewes. Book an appointment with the designer before you head there or you won’t get too much help.
Love this place! What a great selection. And the employees are awesome! Mary at the reception desk is so helpful, and she's always working so hard. Whatever they're paying her, they should double. Sam was also very helpful in putting my order together. Will definitely be coming back for my next project.
I can't say enough good things about this place. The team goes above and beyond for the customers. I worked with Gretel, Sydney and Ashley. Everyone else is super nice too. Sydney has a great taste for design and knew exactly what I was looking for. She was also extremely organized and she was always on top of all orders and our order was BIG and complicated. And Gretel was always there and helped with all aspect of design and ordering. Highly recommended!
Great experience at the tile market. Made an appointment with Fran Consiglio and she was right on time. Helped me with some designs and quickly drew up a quote for tile and materials. She even put up with me for two weeks while I made several changes to the order. I even got some face time with a Schluter installer who answered all of my questions. All in all, excellent service from everyone I dealt with there, but particularly Fran. Thanks folks!!
Order has not been placed so this review is subject to change. However, picking out flooring and accent tile was a breeze with help from Erin. The selection is as beautiful as the displays are. I am hoping that there will be no glitches moving forward! I see a five star review in the future if all goes well. Let's go to 5 stars after 2 completed positive experiences.
Be careful as some of the sales people are not as knowledgeable on the products. We were told there was bullnose for the matte tile we selected only to find out when the tile was getting ready to be installed that the bull nose only comes in a gloss finish and is smaller 2x8 than the 13x13 tile selected. The size of the bullnose could have been dealt with but the finish difference is a problem. They were however accommodating and we were able to return the tile and pick a different one fairly quickly hence the 3 star rating.
Great selection and smart service people!
The Tile Market of Delaware has always given us the best service! The staff in the showroom have always welcomed our clients and helped them make their selections. The Stone Shop gives us excellent service when it comes to countertop template and installation.
