The food is great the service is awesome. Of course every now and then a group of people from the hospital will come in to have their lunch or dinner. Get extremely loud and forget that there's other patrons in there that may not want to hear their love conversations and celebrations. But we realize because it is a public place people are allowed to do whatever they choose however they choose. But come on let's be considerate for others. I really enjoy this diner/ restaurant
The food overall is consistently good, with the exception of the crabcakes. It tastes more like something you'd get from a restaurant out of state, certainly not a MD restaurant. The service is usually really good, can't remember a time where it lacked. The atmosphere depends on what time and day you go. During the day, it's more quiet, and relaxed, weekend nights are the opposite, and usually very crowded, finding a seat at the bar can be impossible at times.
Service was Awesome but the food was just ok. Salmon/Scallops overcooked but well seasoned. Cream of crab ehhhh! My Punch not listed on the drink menu was delicious! My husband enjoyed the wings and fries. Would try again but I would choose a different meal.
Our waitress was very inattentive, never offered any refills or asked how the food was. Sour beef & dumplings were overpriced for the amount the restaurant offers. Two small pieces of beef with 2 small dense dumplings swimming in a plate of gravy is NOT worth $26. The stuffed cabbage for $22 was terrible. Two small, flavorless cabbage rolls with pasty textured mashed potatoes drowning in a greyish colored sauce was absolutely revolting. This place used to be decent, but now the quality and quantity of food has drastically declined while the pricing has skyrocketed. If this place wants to succeed, they need to implement a new menu to replace the boring and outdated one. Management also needs to hire a chef and staff who know how to cook food properly. Would NEVER recommend this establishment to anyone. Dietary restrictions: I was told by the server that they don't have any dietary entree's.
Went on a Friday evening. The food was great! From the shrimp, chicken, ribs and crabcake. All were scrumptious. The DJ had a diverse selection of music. People were dancing and just a festive atmosphere. This could become part of the rotation of restaurants we visit. Kudos to you Dellis!
Went to eat on Tuesday around 6:pm. Place wasnt busy. Service was slow, incorrect food delivered, to remedy it plate was brought back to kitchen and didnt return until everyone else was finished. There was a large increase in cost, cheeseburgers with fries are $20, tap beer is $6. All together, service and food quality doesnt justify prices. While we used to enjoy this place, those days are over.
I had spinach pie with a Greek salad. Great lunch!Food: 5/5
The service here is excellent, our waitress was friendly, funny and on point. Lots of seating options depending on if you want to watch sports or not. The meatloaf and mashed potatoes are subpar. Pretty sure the mashed potatoes are instant not homemade. And the orangish gravy was too salty. I wouldn't order it again. Caveat Emptor - if you get a sandwich it comes with chips. The fries are an upcharge. Cheese is an upcharge too. The fries are great, though. All said, I'd recommend Old Philadelphia Inn over Dellis, and the Double T Diner for better meatloaf.
Friendly staff! Great food! It was our first time there and we will definitely return soon!! Update: We've been back several times and we always bring friends. French Dip was delicious but if you want cheese or onions they're $1.50 extra each. Parking: Large parking area on premises.
My experience was excellent. Social distancing measures were in place. Taylor was our server and she was great. She was friendly, professional and attentive. Even when Taylor acquired a bigger party, another staff member made sure we were ok. I've also had Brittany as a server. She was also magnificent. The cajon pork chops and potatoes were delicious. The BBQ chicken breast and ribs are also good.
