I LOVE the service here. I've gotten to know the waitresses quite well, and try to give large tips for them when able. The food is usually good. I've had a few bad plates, but it certainly hasn't stopped me from going to Denny's regularly.

Really poor food. The chicken fried steak was grey and really tasted awful. The toast was served really cold. The hash browns were very undercooked. The eggs were cold, but basted as ordered. Service was as garbage as the food. I did not come close to finishing the meal, but the waiter seemed fine with the fact that I hated my meal and offered no more than a “shoot” when I mentioned my dissatisfaction. Well shoot, I guess that is the last time I give this place a chance.

Our Server/Waitress was rude. Very rude. She wasn't helpful. Didn't greet us. Didn't even get her name. On the way in, my party was still on the parking lot. I clearly told her that we'd like a booth and she set us up at a table. When I arrived at the table after my friends, she became annoyed because my party sat at a booth and oblivious to us, she had set us up at a table. She literally got attitude with us. When she asked how we'd be paying, we said that 2 people would be splitting the check. She didn't get that and made something very simple complex. None of us could finish our food. Loss of appetite. Suddenly. So, my to go container had a stain in it, so I asked for another, and that was like pulling teeth. I paid half the check in cash and my other friend was going to finish it off...All bagged up and ready to go. I wanted to wait outside in the front after using the restroom. I went back to the table and picked up my to go box. Walked past her at the cashier stand. She said "Uh...are you guys ready to go?" I said, yes, they're just finishing up a little convo. I'm gonna be out front for a second. She looks at my to go box and had this expression on her face. I knew exactly what she was thinking...Dine and Ditch! I told her that I paid for half of the check and she said "Ok...I was wondering?" When I got outside, I noticed a police officer sitting at an adjacent corner. His focus was on me. So, my friends met her at the cash register. There was an awkward exchange between them, she never once smiles the entire time there. We collectively did not feel invited or welcomed. When we they joined me outside, another police unit came into the parking lot and circled our cars. He was a nice guy. My feeling on this, is that the young lady either told her manager or someone to alert the authorities,because she thought we were going to Dine and Ditch...Very Awkward outting...We will not be eating at that Denny's again. π

I usually love Denny's can't beat their breakfast. But today I ordered a prime rib Philly melt and it was horrible!!!! The lady said it would take 35mins. So I showed up 3mins early and the food had to have been done for a long time. The sandwich and fries were super cold and had literally no meat on the sandwich. It was pretty much onions, peppers, mushrooms and cheese. I wouldn't complain if it was cheap, but for $12 dollars for fries and a sandwich, you expect some meat on that thing!!!!! And for it to be at least warm. Idk if they have a new cook or what but I'm done eating there for awhile. Hopefully my next experience is better. I feel like a flushed $12 down the toilet today :(
