If you haven't been to Denny's, I doubt you're an American! Their portions have gotten smaller over the years but they also have gotten better quality food. This is a great place for a diner experience. It is clean and newly remodeled. No problems, you'll have a good experience!

Where should I start? The food was overly salty and the portions were half the size. And the manager's reason for that is, "it just depends on who the cooks are that day." Really? They served raw eggs to my husband and forgot the pancakes too. The lumberjack used to be a satisfying meal but not so much anymore. Our waitress was not that great either, so this experience was nothing special. Definitely, won't be going back anytime soon.

I use to enjoy going to Denny's.  They had great customer service and fast service from start to finish. Then last time I went in for breakfast at 7:30 am the customer service was great but it took 25 min to get my food.   I didn't even have time to eat it.   When it got to my table before boxing it up it was half cold.  I feel this was very poor customer service all the way around due there being only 3 people in the restaurant including myself.   The next time I went in it was evening.   The restaurant was about half full.   I waited 5 min to get seated and another 5 before the waitress brought me a glass of water and a menu.   I was fine with this since I wasn't in a hurry.   The waitress was a little rude and complained about it being busy.  Working in the food industry I know how one rude or horribly sloppy table can change your mood,  but you must rise above it and move on.   I waited about 25 min again for my food,  but it was warm when I got it except for the potato.  The waitress did replace it and her mood improved some as we chatted a bit.   The last time I went it was so busy I should have known better than even stopping due to my past to wait times.   This time I got my food to go.   I was so mad by the time I left I almost left without my food.   It took over an hour to get my food.   I asked several times about it's status and got the same excuse each time.   "I don't have time to go check on it,  they will bring it out when it is done."  the counter girl was extremely rude to everyone that was waiting to be seated or waiting for food.   She was also very rude to customers paying their bill.   It will be a very long time before I go back.   If I want a good steak I will be going to Steak Out to get it.   It is within the same distance.  They aren't a sit down restaurant and they aren't open 24hrs, but they have faster service,  deliver, and your food is hot everytime or they make it right with you.

I met a friend for breakfast and we were greeted, given a booth promptly and offered something to drink and given menus. Our server answered our questions about the menu and we shortly placed our order. We didn't have a long wait and our food arrived hot and complete and we're offered refills on our drinks at that time. My only complaint was the dark decor,  the walls and ceilings were very dark and it wasn't the cheerful place after they remodelled.
