This is not the Denny's I remember from my youth. Our server barely spoke English, and when I asked for a burger, they told me they could only do it well done. I then asked for eggs and bacon with the bacon soft, but they told me they could only do it crisp. My son's pancakes were beyond small, and his sausage was smaller than a stamp. My daughter's boneless chicken wings had three in them. And was told that is the new Denny's policy. As well she asked for ranch dressing and was told it was a two dollar up charge. Most disheartening was that over the course of my meal time, 45 minutes, I was given only two cups of coffee. Anything beyond that was, you guessed it, an upcharge. Overall ... stay away. Poor service, terrible food, and just un-American. Though the robot delivery dude was cute.
This place brought back old memories eating at Denny's when they where all over the VA area.A Nice easy breakfast Including Tip under $10 .Food: 5/5
Food is good, and seems to have not increased in price as much as other nearby options, so a relatively good bang/buck. Wait service is very hit or miss. Seems to be mainly personnel issues - they have some great waiters and some poor ones. Service also seems to be better when a manager is on the floor.
Consistently good food. The breakfast slams are definitely a deal compared to other restaurants Parking: Plenty of parkong spots in the back Kid-friendliness: Family friendly restaurant Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible
Everything was good, except heard the workers discussed about them job.Food: 5/5
I go to this Denny's close to every weekend. I love their pancakes! Of all the breakfast eateries, this is my favorite pancake! I've frequent this restaurant for 3 years or more and it impresses me how much of the staff stayed the same. To me that means the employer is a great one to work for.Food: 5/5
The service is always great. We have different server, but they are always cheerful, friendly, fast and efficient. The food and atmosphere is more than on par with their prices. My favorite is the Fit Slam. The best thing is the 20% AARP senior discount. Wheelchair accessibility: Denny’s is one of the few restaurants that got it right. The two handicap parking spaces are right in front of the entrance.
I have to say that this was the best service ever. Remy was my waiter and he was absolutely fabulous. Very friendly and a great sense of humor- he really went above and beyond. His service set the theme for my whole day with such thoughtfulness. I could tell he has been here a while as some regular customers arrived and he knew them by name. His hard work and personableness really makes a food chain restaurant seem like home.
This was my first time ever in any Denny's in the states. Honestly, my expectations of their food were low, but they blew me away by how their food matched outback steakhouse tbh. I ordered the salmon with rice and mashed potatoes on the side with chicken tinder. The waitress was friendly and attentive to my needs. I would say though, they should upgrade their water from tap water to mineral water, or filtered water at least. I mean a bottle of water is 25¢.
Never coming here again. The wait staff was very friendly. The food came out and my son noticed a hair in his food. They took the food away without any apology and made a new meal. At the end I asked if I could have the charge for my son’s meal taken off the bill due to the hair in the food. The manager approached the table very angry. I never brought it to that level and thought she had no reason to get angry with me. They were the ones that brought out food with a hair in it - I’m not the problem here. The young lady manager took 15% off my son’s meal due to the hair and left the table angry like she was doing me a great favor. So I ended up leaving and paying for the meal along with the 15% reduction in my son’s meal. Even though the wait staff was friendly and deserved a tip, I didn’t leave one. When the management has that kind of angry disposition with reasonable customer complaints over a mistake they made without any formal apology, I couldn’t see the justification of a tip. They don’t need my business nor will I ever recommend to anyone to visit their establishment. If you eat here, just accept the hair in the food or you will be yelled at by the managers.
