I'm a total garlic lover and this place was amazing. My first time eating here and the calazone was delicious. Love, love, love the garlicky marinara sauce, crust is flavorful and not too thick. Toppings were fresh and tasty. I'm telling everyone. I will be back here in the future for all my pizza needs. Also, the spinach salad was fresh, plenty of dressing on the side, not a pre-boxed salad that has been sitting in the fridge for a week. Unexpectedly delicious!

Great salads, pizza  and sandwiches for lunch and dinner. Everything made is prepared after you order.  So fresh and yummy! Great fooddoe 20 years!

I read all the reviews and decided to give Deno’s a try. I’m glad I did because I would’ve miss out on the best pizza in Portland. Forget the less positive reviews. I spoke with the owners who are always present and are the nicest people who care about their customers. I appreciate the mom & pop experience along with really good food that’s not micro measured down to the gram to maximize profits. The pizzas I ordered were hand made with fresh ingredients including dough. If you long for the days when pizza was good this is your place. This place is very clean, seats about 50 people and is reasonably priced. I ordered two extra-large and one large pizza with 4 drinks total $50.00 feed 4 people with enough left over for lunch the next day for all of us. I will be a regular from now on..

Good hand made pizza and a nice atmosphere.   May have to take care of yourself though.
