Dr. Whalen and the Dental Design Studio is consistently an extraordinary dental experience. Wait times are always minimal. His staff of hygienists are personable, professional, and take great care in the comfort of their patients. They are thorough in their work, and go to great lengths to ensure you are well cared for. Dr. Whalen always takes a few moments to visit if he's not doing the work directly to give an evaluation. He makes you feel like your an old friend come to visit. His welcoming demeanor aside, he is a talented and accomplished dentist that I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone.

I guarantee that Dr. Whalen is the #1 Dentist in the area. I have had multiple Dentist work on my teeth over many many years and not one has ever come close to his approach,,treatment and professionalism. Thank you Dr. Whalen and staff for who you are and what you do!

Switched dentist to Dr. Whalen about 5 years ago after my former dentist retired. Couldn't be happier with the switch. Their main goal seems to be making a dentist visit as easy as possible. The work I've had done there has also all also held up well with no issues. I've also never felt that the work was rushed as I have with other doctor's offices. In addition, I'm not sure how the earlier review talks badly about their office staff. The office staff there is the friendliest and nicest people I've ever met. They always know me by name and always seem to remember things about my personal life that I mentioned in a previous visit (maybe they put notes in their system but either way it still feels nice walking in and feeling like family).

Great office, the waiting room smells like cookies (fantastic), they always get me on right on time and I always feel clean after I see the hygienist (I've seen a few there). Dr. Whalen did some gum surgery on me and it was painless. I recommend it. Dr. Whalen also is a Notre Dame fan so I love talking sports with him!

Let's start with the front desk "manager"....at first I thought it was only me with this opinion, until I heard feedback from local families. She is condescending, and extremely rude. They are not upfront regarding price points, and when someone asks a question regarding why the cost is significantly higher than was originally anticipated, the "manager" becomes even more dismissive and rude, if that's even possible. As far as Dr Whalen's work...he did a decent bridge. It took 3 visits to adjust it properly. When I called and expressed my discomfort, I was dismissed by the office manager. I was used to that after interacting a few times. In addition, Dr Whalen did a filling for me that ended up cracking my tooth. I ended up having to get the tooth pulled and was not reimbursed. Instead, I was made to feel as though it was somehow my fault by their disgraceful manager. She could use a course is customwr service for sure. I should also be reimbursed for my cracked tooth, but that would mean that the office would have to actually take responsibility.
