I got to my first appointment at the new location, and I was told that there is no record of an appointment for me. They told me that I could wait with "no guarantee that I will be 'seen'". I informed the person behind the bulletproof glass that they should "...probably look into this". She informed me that they already have. Somewhat rude service. About 20 minutes later, another woman called to me (again, behind protective glass and a microphone) and informed me that indeed, I do have an appointment on record and that I would be seen "as soon as possible". I can understand that mistakes are made, but I doubt very much that whatever caused the mis-communication will be identified and rectified. Also, what is with the bullet-proof glass? (I was not even allowed entry during my interview. I had to pick up a phone receiver and talk to the employee that way.) Have things gotten that bad in Portland?

I was publically humiliated!!!! You dont do that with someone who is on the autistic spectrum and has ptsd!!!

so first I'll say that DHHS does help people... now that said, anything else... they are horrible! i just called yesterday & the automated Voice said it would be a10 minute wait..yea sure..i was waiting for 1hr &17mins! i just called now, & the voice said it would be over 60mins! its absolutely ridiculous..... i feel real bad 4 ppl that have to watch their minutes
