I went to the Department of Health to get a birth certificate for my daughter and it was a super easy process. All you need is an ID and form of payment (They take credit card if you have an ID). The hospital where our daughter was born sent in the info so all they had to do was look it up, confirm I was the father, and print the official certificate. I went on a Tuesday afternoon and did wait for an hour but once I was called, it took 3 minutes! And the staff were friendly!
