Great privately funded library.. nice children's section, ADA accessible.

The children's programs at Derby Neck Library can't be beat!!! Excellent music and science programs for toddlers and babies and a great place to meet other members of the community. Miss Kathi never forgets a name and has a great repertoire with the children.

The other staff is friendly, helpful, and goes out of their way to make sure you are taken care of. 

The book selection is varied and they have a great collection of DVDs, Blurays, and available computers and tablets for use. If you are looking for a local library hotspot, this is it!!!

Well-equipped library in beautiful old historic Carnegie Library building. Plenty of parking, tables where you can spread out to do work, and lots of computers. The staff can be a litttle unfriendly/formal at times but it's not a problem. Enormous, excellent DVD collection. Only library in the area that's open on weekends in the summer.

Great staff, large selection of children's books, wonderful programs.  A very cozy place to spend an afternoon.
