The WORST experience ever! I called in at lunchtime for ordering a DF chicken noodle from their website menu for 12.99. I confirmed this is a “noodle” five times with the person who answered the phone also confirmed the price of 12.99. However, when I picked up for food, the size looks very small to me, and it didn’t look like the picture on the website menu, so before handing in the payment, I asked the cashier again if there was “noodle” in it. He said yes. Then I gave my debit card for the payment, but they charge me an extra 1 dollar because of the price change. Well, you should tell me when I read the price to you at the time I place the order. When I arrive home, I found there is no single piece of noodle at all, just curry chicken. I called back to them, and he said they were out of noodles, but they can give me rice instead if I drive back. They also refused to give me a refund because I use a debit card even though I asked to bring the food back to them. I will not go to this store again!
Update 1.27.23 - stopped by today and was extremely disappointed in the service. The man working there was incredibly rude, unhelpful and unprofessional. He made us wait and was on the phone with some customers—we understand that. However, he was throwing around the produce we had bagged up and wanted to check out. He seemed like he did not want to be there. Please talk to your staff member. This is not the type of service we are used to receiving from you. We always stop by at Desi because of your service so this visit came as a shock. Updating rating from 5 to 2 stars. The staff specializes in customer service! There’s always a good selection of products. We have done prepaid store pick up orders a few times, and it has always been a good experience. We’re in and out quickly. Keep up the good work, Desi Foods. : we look forward to returning 4.23.22 - ordered food from their kitchen for the first time. Everything was flavorful. Will return.
Love to have a grocery like this so close to home. The deli is delicious and the complimentary chai is so good.
The self serve food bar area impresses me. I appreciate their selection and listing the ingredients. Very easy to find diet friendly items, especially on my vegan regiment.
Worst Indian food I had here. Cheap quality food and waste or money. Cooking in home is suggestible.
Don’t get fooled by going to this store, they are exploiting the need of customers, prices are very high when compared to goods in any Indian grocery stores in twin cities. Same grocery if you buy in any other indian store you will see the difference. Storage of vegetables is not great. Instead drive a but far to Eden Praire and get the grocery. A great thumbs down for Desi Foods Eagen.
Good For Halal meat! They have really good medium size cut chicken/mutton pieces, no smell, fresh meat....Also they have best CHAI

This is a great place to buy spices cumin, mustard seed, cardamom, bay leaf, sesame seeds, coriander and other things like chickpeas and ginger root for dishes beyond just indian cuisine. The prices are far more reasonable than a typical grocery store and I haven't been able to notice any difference in quality. It's a small store but I was having a tough time finding mustard seed and the cashier noticed and helped me out. Beware of cash only policy for purchases <$10.
