I took my 10 year old daughter in yesterday for a haircut. This is the 3rd time we have gone to Destiny by Design for her cuts, and so she was pretty excited to go again. We told the stylist what she wanted and I sat in the sitting area while my daughter got her cut. At the end of the appointment I paid, tipped and left. I noticed while checking my daughter's hair that she had a band aid over her ear, so I asked if they cut her ear. My daughter said yes and said that it was pretty sore, and felt like she was stuck with a needle. Now she is still complaining that her ear is throbbing, and while the cut appears to be superficial and will heal I felt I had to leave a review as I am disappointed that I was never told by anyone this had happened. Not sure if we will return here for her next HAIR cut.

I have been a client for many years and have always had a good experience. I can get just about any beauty service at a great cost compared to the prices outside the valley. The whole salon is friendly and welcoming, and they all do their best to entertain my whim of the day. In contrast to the other review who was probably an ex employee, I really do like this salon, and the girls who work here couldn't be friendlier. In fact, I have gotten to know the owner who is one of the hairdressers and she insists on a friendly and fun atmosphere with no drama. She loves what she does and wants all the clients and staff to have fun while they are at the salon. Those who refuse to follow this fun guideline usually don't last long.

I will never go here again.  The girls that work here are rude and act like they are better than you.
