Stopped in on a hot Sunday and sat at the bar with a few cool and delicious pints of a light beer by the brewer. The bartender, Billy, was a pro. Lots of people stopped in to get a drink and get out of the heat. Had the short rib tacos and they were outstanding. Worth stopping in.
We had the Creole pasta, absolutely delicious. Also enjoyed a flight of beer and a pint of their 1529 IPA. Will definitely recommend it to others. Great atmosphere and our server Billy was very friendly.
Stopped in for a cold beverage on a warm day. The place is set up pretty sweet. Outdoor space to hang too. The porter is good. The pineapple is tasty.
Crab tacos tasted great. Inside was refreshingly cool on a hot day. Side salads were decently sized. Angus steak burger was great. Appetizers didn't appear until the same time as the main course. One of the salads was missing croutons. The extra spicy sandwich was not spicy whatsoever. The ham & pulled pork sandwich was mostly cheese and bread. Though we had been nothing but friendly, even when we voiced our concerns to the server, she did not seem to care at all; choosing to walk away mid-sentence. We were somewhat surprised at the lack of customer service from her and the staff in general. First and last visit.
Best Bloody Mary in Detroit!! Love the staff- Tyler is always so kind, friendly and welcoming- his cocktails are always spot on! I love this place for drinks and food. Great location, amazing staff, excellent food and drink!!
The Beer Co. is a nice craft beer joint in downtown Detroit. The food is good, the beer is too and there are also some guest taps available. We went there for lunch on a weekday, but since it's close to all the arenas /stadiums it is probably also a good place for a drink before or after a game...
Zack was extremely attentive and ensured my beer was never empty. Furthermore, the food was magnificent, and the manager Charlie even complimented my Lions attire our seasons over, I'm still grieving. Nonetheless, highly recommend the establishment, the food, beer, and attentively aware team members.
I've been to the Detroit Beer Company a couple times over the years and have always enjoyed the food, drink, and atmosphere. This time, I had the chicken wings with BBQ sauce and the Pineapple Guava Sour and enjoyed the combination. The restaurant looks great with all the brewery equipment being a main feature of the decor. The only drawback on this visit is they seem to have reduced the number of burger choices on the menu, but this didn't impact my enjoyment of my meal. Recommended!
Mouthwatering food, friendly faces, quick services. Great atmosphere. Across Detroit Opera House.
This place has some really good craft beer and the food is outstanding! Everyone was friendly and our waitress was really helpful and polite!
