The food is good. Can't specialize it too much, so I didn't get to order what I really wanted. The ordering system is impersonal, which would be great if I could just build my own roll. Also overly complicated. Could be much simpler. Was on a date, got our food at different times. Also messed up our order had to delete the whole order and start over. The atmosphere is nice. The bathrooms are unisex. Staff is disassociated and removed, doesn't seem interested in consumer satisfaction. Very clean. Refreshing. Mostly self serve. Would have been nice to have someone ask me if the food was good and if they could assist me in ordering or using the machine... Miss that, "Are you good?" Customer service, but also enjoyed the self service. Also don't like having my food (what feels like) just tossed at me.

I have visited this establishment ten or more times in the last month, each time while I was visiting from Twin, as I would set up my laptop and chat with family back home while I spent time in Boise. Every time was pleasant, super friendly staff and tasty eats, and as it is open late I would find a corner out of the way to set up my laptop, eat, and talk to family & friends. In all my previous experiences, I would have given Dharma a solid 5 hands down. However, tonight was an entirely different & strange visit.. they weren't busy by any means, maybe 6 other patrons in total, I hadn't been there for more than 3 minutes, just set up my laptop, and stepped outside to have a smoke on the street. Around 10 seconds after I stepped outside, a bald manager came out and confronted me in a very rude & bizarre manner. At first I thought he was going to ask me to stand closer to the street while I smoked, which would have been no issue whatsoever, but instead he only told me that I had to leave.. naturally, being surprised and puzzled by this, I inquired, asking if it was due to the fact I was about to smoke, he replied with "No, its not that, I'm telling you to leave, so leave.". Needless to say, I was completely confused, and proceeded to ask if it was the laptop that was the issue, to which he replied "No, its not the laptop, I'm just telling you to leave, and I'm not telling you again." Completely dumbfounded, I continued to apologize for whatever it was that I had done to upset him, and asked to know what it was I had done to be made to leave, so that I could avoid doing it again in the future, since I had visited plenty of times prior with no issue, his response was "Look, I told you I'm not telling you again, get out or I'm calling the cops." I was made to leave, with no reason, or professionalism to help prevent a similar issue in the future. So I did so, and as I was finishing packing up my stuff, I noticed the manager step in to a backroom, so before leaving I approached to working staff, apologizing for whatever it was I did, and asked if they might be aware of what offense I caused so I would be able to avoid this type of situation in the future, they on the other hand were completely kind, but none of them had any idea and seemed just as puzzled as I was since a couple of them have seen me there a handful of times over the last month. As I thanked them, and apologized again, the manager returned and said he was calling the cops, to which I apologized again, and let him know that there was no need as I was just about entirely packed up and leaving. After this experience, I doubt I will be back, as I still have no idea what I did to warrant this callous behavior, and also that I now I see that Dharma employed such a rude, & most importantly incredibly unprofessional manager, who kicks people out for no known reasoning, without giving any explanation, and threats of police involvement, which is not only a massive abuse of his position, but more importantly, a waste of the very valuable & important time of Boise's police officers. I will be contacting Dharma, and his superiors, to further attempt to understand, and resolve this issue in a professional manner. Attached is his picture, as I wasn't able to get a name.

Good sushi, great price and the opening hours are longer than most sushi places in Boise. I ordered the 20/20 roll, my friend got the California roll and both of them were good. 20/20 was a little too spicy. But all in all, great food and place.

HAIRS HAIRS HAIRS Place not as good as it used to be. The last few times I've been here I keep on forgetting to tell them to hold the hairs...because that's what we've been getting with our rolls...and now I guess they apparently don't take cash...so..up to you if you wanna come here.

Definitely try some moneybags if you're a newbie! Downgrading to 4 stars... I've come here for years but something has changed. My favorites are long gone and it's just not the same. I know "change is good" but...
