Dial-A-Move is absolutely AMAZING!!!!

We've always just moved by ourselves (we are actually pretty seasoned movers at this point), but my husband and I recently moved 1,000 miles to Aberdeen, and do not have any friends or family near by that could help us this time around. Moving an entire house by ourselves seemed pretty daunting, so we decided to try hiring movers to help with the larger pieces of furniture that would have been difficult for just the two of us to manage alone. We did some research on the best local movers, and found that Dial-A-Move had top ratings, and decided to give them a try.

A few weeks before moving, we scheduled a consultation with Dial-A-Move to discuss our different options and what we had in mind for the move. Their moving options are totally "customizable" and they worked with us to come up with the best plan of action for our particular needs. My husband and I were able to pack our own boxes and move small things by ourselves, but just needed some help with the larger pieces of furniture. Dial-A-Move was totally accommodating with this request!

On moving day the crew showed up on time and got to work right away. They took a lot of care to protect our floors and walls before moving anything, which was not expected but greatly appreciated! Each piece of furniture was carefully protected with moving blankets and/or shrink wrap and the team worked coheisively to get us moved out as quickly as possible.

When we arrived at our new home, the crew again was very impressive. They took the same care in protecting our floors and walls, and were so easy to work with! They placed our furniture in the exact room and location that we wanted and even assembled everything for us. One crew member noticed that the legs of one of our chairs were a bit loose and tightened them back up for us!

What impressed me most of all, was that when it seemed like our very large sofa would not fit through any of the house's entry points, they persisted for over an hour on trying every possible way to get our sofa inside. After many different attempts, they miraculously got it into the house without any damage to our new home! I'm still in disbelief of how they somehow managed to get the sofa inside! Wow!

Moving can be incredibly stressful, but Dial-A-Move made the entire process so simple. We will definitely recommend them to anyone who has an upcoming move, and will be using their services when it comes time for us to move again!

On a 1 to 5 scale, these guys are a solid "6". They moved my Mom's apartment contents into storage and into a smaller place. Their attention to detail, and anticipation of moving needs is unbelievable.  I've moved across country several times, and I wish I'd had them move me.
