In early November we took our RV from Tennessee to Diamond Lake Resort per a family member giving it a 5 STAR rating to be closer to family during the holidays. We were so impressed with the beauty of the resort, the solitude, the ambiance and the fellowship of church members on Sundays, who welcomed us with open arms, that we extended our stay from one month to two. The first 6 weeks were heavenly. Weather and all. Never having experienced "Extensive Freezing Weather of 20 degrees or lower...my black tank froze the day after Christmas and the owners, in the guise of "Guardian Angels -Brian & Janice"  came to my rescue. The care and attention they gave me personally, and others dealing with frozen tanks was beyond belief. YOU 2 will never know how much Nick & I appreciated your care for me, as I was on my own with no idea what to do. Thus, our camper remains in the same spot where I left it on January 9th...and at the end of March we will return to our new found haven to experience the beauty of spring in this wonderful resort. Laurie & Joe were also very friendly and helpful. My family members, also fellow campers and I look forward to having a camping reunion with our racing buddies this summer. The ducks and catfish became my daily companions and I had so much fun feeding them, watching ducks/with giant catfish jumping out of the water to get at least 1 tasty morsel of fish food. Making the holiday season...a treasure to remember always.

Friendly staff. Came end of January for 2 nights, not many campers, open all year.  They could have given us a better spot, with so few campers, and the size of our rig, probably the toughest spot we have ever had to maneuver into.  Probably very nice in the summer when the grass is green and trees are in bloom. Unfortunately Wi-Fi doesn't work and neither did our satellite, and there was no obstruction.  TV basically was non-existent in the evening.  Could never stay here on an extended basis.

Website says they take pets but by pets they actually mean dogs only. I wanted to make a week long reservation for the motel but the owner wanted me to keep my cat crated for the entire week. When I said that I wouldn't do this she stated they don't take cats because of allergies (what does that have to do with a crate?). We drove through the park and it was dirty, unkempt, and every single truck was revving through the park at dangerous and Loud speeds. I guess we were lucky we didn't get the reservation after all.

Great family campground with fishing lakes, a pool, go carts, and paddle boats.  Mini golf is a sad course but offered. Reasonably priced general store and restaurant. Piza and ice cream parlor.   Pet friendly.

We always have a great time staying here. our kiddos love it more than we do. Lot's of shaded spots. Love that we can bring our own UTV.
