I recently had the unfortunate circumstance of visiting a loved one here. The facilities are cold and dingy. The patients are treated like animals and left to hours of boredom in the lowest moments of their lives. They seem to be offered drugs for shedding a tear. Believe me. it would be completely normal to cry if you were here. I understand the need for safety, but Glens Falls hospital should be ashamed of what is provided to people who are in most need of comfort and care. A single phone is provided for any patient to answer and then they are to search for the caller's loved one. They are not treated with the dignity that most treat animals. If more people knew, this would not be happening. This facility is completely outdated and unacceptable!
