Terrible; dry and tasteless brisket and pulled pork with a slice of white bread as further insult. Mac and Cheese was creamy but the flavour was very dilute. The inside of their fries had a firmness characteristic of being undercooked. Also the portions are pathetic.
Had the brisket plate wasn't as smoky as I was expecting it the texture was nice and tender enough though. The deep fried okra was good but lacking in flavour eating it by it self . The sauces were good, my son had the chicken sandwich texture was nice but flavour wise sadly he rather have McDonald's . The big yellow cup was a great idea very environment friendly.
This was a sad BBQ dish. The bbq sauce was so watered down, like a soup like consistency. The ribs were dry. The Brisket was sooo dry it was breaking apart. The chicken was the worst thing on that plate. Super dry marinated chicken, the BBQ sauce couldn't save the chicken for life. The mac n cheese was edible and the potato salad was edible as well. The random slice of toast was interesting. Safe to say I will not be back. This was super disappointing.
Are you serious about the fries and onions? I bought it to go. 1. The waitress was nice, with a nice smell; 2. The worst fries I saw, bitter, can not eat. How you can provide it to customers!!! I like Texas BBQ so much, but I can not say anything for it…..
Very good food and nice people. They were super patient with my group of six and helped give recommendations on what to order. We got the family pack which let us divide the meat into 4 types too. Their brisket is an absolute must if you don't know what to get. Flavorful, fatty, juicy, tender and melts in your mouth. Pulled pork is amazing with the barbeque sauce mixed in. Slap it on the dinner roll with the onions and pickles and you'll have a satisfying sandwich. Burnt pork ends are great to munch and share with a group. Their chicken is a good and lean portion which pairs well with the BBQ sauce but I'd get the brisket instead Sides, we had fries, onion rings and Mac and cheese. They're all great but I'd absolutely choose the fries hands down every time because I think they're the best I've ever had from anywhere. All in all it's a great place with a lot of tasty options for a reasonable price. I'm easily coming back for their beef brisket sandwich with a side of fries.
The staff are very welcoming here, I was greeted with a brisket sample. However the staff didn't seem to know the menu when I asked them questions. The food was quite bad. I got the brisket platter- the dryest brisket I've ever had. There was a very thin layer of fat on the top, but that was all. The mac and cheese was instant level, coleslaw similar to prepackaged kind from the grocery store. They served the meat with a plain white roll, no butter or anything. I got to choose a small barbecue sauce, which could not make up for the dryness of the brisket. I also found a hair on the brisket .. Clean and new restaurant with lots of seating and paper towels. Price is ok for portion. Would not come back unless they made improvements to the quality of food.
The meats were very delicious, I didn't like the bread they sell with pulled pork, it was very dry, we ordered two cocktails, a Texas margarita that wasn't good honestly but I did like the long island iced tea. The place is nice. I will be back to try the ribs.Food: 5/5
Their 3 meat platter is a great deal for $30. You get 3 types of meat and 2 sides! I recommend their brisket, pulled pork and ribs. I heard their burnt ends are great too! Okra fries are a must try! If you get their big yellow cup, you can get cheap refills on your next visit!Food: 5/5
My wife and I really enjoyed our meal. We ordered the Pulled Pork and the Beef Brisket plates. The portion Sizes were just right and everything tasted delicious. We then got the Brownie and the Pecan Pie for dessert as we still had some room, those were great as well. The staff was very nice and even brought us over some samples of their sausage to try. My wife and I both loved it. We are going to be back to try some more stuff . Thank you for the great experience.
Dickeys barbecue was a surprise hit for me. With an entire platter of meat that literally fell off the bone while eating it, I have handed dickeys to my go to BBQ spots around the city. With a variety of options available for all BBQ lovers, dickeys is a spot that you need to visit. It's been a while since going, but I really enjoy the atmosphere and theme they have going on inside the restaurant.
