Visiting relatives at RWJ, I had been eyeballing this place on the internet for days. Finally worked up the courage to go and I was not disappointed. Having lived in places like Chicago, Dallas, Atlanta, and Grand Rapids Michigan I can honestly say the smokeshow burger was one of the best burgers I've ever had. And the natural cut fries were on point as well. I will definitely be going back for more..

I've tried most of the items on their menu. I think Diesel and Duke offers a good combination and balance of price, quality and taste. I gave them a 5 star based on the following:

I have tried burgers in about 15 places in New Brunswick/Highland Park area and I believe Diesel and Duke burgers are the most reasonably priced burgers in the area. $6.99 is a really good price for a good burger.

Quality: 1.7/2
Sometimes I feel the oil they use for fries should be changed more often. 

Taste: 2/2
Their breakfast burger is one of the tastiest burgers that I've ever had in my life. Smokeshow is also amazing. Overall their burgers are really tasty.

OVERALL: 4.7/5

There is a bench in front of Diesel and Duke if you wanna eat there but this place has been designed for pick up. 
I highly recommend their breakfast burger.

I really don't understand the praise. Maybe I came on a bad day. The burger was average to slightly below average, which I guess is not that big a deal, but the rudeness of the employees was really surprising. I asked for a burger well done, what I received was rare, and when I tentatively suggested they put this on the grill a bit longer (so that they wouldn't have to waste more food), they basically freaked out at me. Like, with shouting and curses. Maybe they were just having a bad day, I don't know, but I've really never had such an angry encounter at any restaurant/eatery.

Really great burgers. You have not lived until you have tried the S.P.B.B. unreal taste! Fries are average I reccomend Ranger Fries. Definantly the new spot for the boys.
