Nice fast casual option for heartier options. Mac and cheese average, chicken great, with a hearty grain or salad good…all served in a bowl format. Nice selection of sides and mains… here the ‘bowls’ tend to be mostly hot ingredients. A nice change of pace from the ubiquitous lunch salad options. Good seasonal variety. A little pricey.
Dig used to be my go to place. Their food is very good and healthy. However, the last few times the protein portion has getting much smaller. Also, the kale salad used to be regular price and now it’s premium, so I had to pay extra for it. On top of that the server did not offer or give me the option of any sauces. Almost $17 for 4 pieces of chicken
With the local delis charging $13/lb for poorly made basic foods this place really brings it home with the alacart sides you can mix and match for an AWESOME wholesome lunch that doesn’t require bad sugars or processed food dyes very much impressed with the selection taste and quality the meal in the picture was a total of $12 with a new acct is opened on the app
Got the charred chicken, half rice, half farro, avocado, antipasto marinated mushrooms, cashew Caesar dressing, and garlic aioli for $13.40. Everything was delicious and portion was good. Of special note, the chicken is amazingly juicy and tender. There was a rich depth of flavor and heartiness to the meal.
This DIG location has been my go-to since I moved to the area. They've consistently been clutch with ready, warm food and friendly service whether it's 10am or 9pm. Shoutout to Max who has been especially helpful whenever I need a post-workout meal in a pinch!Food: 5/5
Don’t you miss the old hearty version of Dig Inn, when the size of the bowl is decent and filling, and you can customize things without extra charges? It’s gone for good. This rebranded DIG is expensive, overpriced, and portion is significantly shrank. The size of the bowl is more like a super light lunch size that leaves you hungry but not starving to death. I ordered a bowl with salmon the other day without any extra side, it ended up with 19 dollars!! The size of salmon is half as large as before 4oz by eye measure. It’s more ripoff than Sweatgreen! The food is delicious but not worth the price. The food industry in NYC needs to stop this shrinkflation trend.
Something going on with this location. Empty on Tuesday lunch hour at 12.30 tells me something is up. I was in a rush so still went ahead. And then I saw the quality of broccoli that I got, and it all made sense. They are not using good quality ingredients. See picture.Food: 3/5
I went for the first time and pointed with my hand because I didn't know the names of some dishes. But the employees were very rude and never helpful. They want you to order in seconds and send your order directly to the cash register without listening to you completely.Food: 3/5
Better on line pick up options needed, similar to JustSalad, the ability to tag names for individual bowls. It’s a guessing game when ordering more than two bowls, you have to open each bowl to determine what is what. Not recommended when ordering individual bowls for meetings.Food: 5/5
The food is great and fresh. The service is amazing and friendly and the restaurant is very clean. For the price I think you would definitely get your moneys worth here, they pack the bowls. Vegetarian options: Lots of veggie options Dietary restrictions: Not everything is gluten free but definitely ask for their nutritional information.
