The staff are always friendly. Lots of food choices. Most of which is decent. No one item really stands out. Local home style cooking. It will be busy on a Friday or Saturday night.

Really good service! Food was good; not outstanding, but certainly nothing wrong with it. Hot roast beef sandwich- they cheerfully switched out wheat for white bread & the brown gravy was tasty. Instant potatoes a little disappointing. Husband had hot tenderloin, very generous serving. Overall, good diner.

I'm from out of town and everytime I visit this is the first place I choose to grab a bite. They don't have many choices for a vegetarian but what I have had is delicious! And my fiance loves the broad choices the menu gives and she usually has trouble picking since she knows everything is going to be delicious. Also, ask your server if any of the pies are fresh and if so, do yourself a favor and grab a piece.

Love Diner 54. I eat there often and have never had bad food or service. All star rating in my book.
